  • Meet-Up With Penang’s Friends At Sunway Pyramid McDonald’s

Meet-Up With Penang’s Friends At Sunway Pyramid McDonald’s

Happy birthday to Chun Khai, the person in the photo below. He received a Fillet O Fish birthday cake with a candle stick on top. =D Haha.

Two weeks back, Min Xiang, a friend from Penang called me that he came to KL to play and shopping then ask me to meet him up at the Sunway Pyramid near to me. Since it’s so near to me, I went to find them. It’s so nice seeing people from the same hometown.

I met two new people, Chun Khai, the birthday boy and Theng Theng, who was already a friend in Plurk but only met that day.

Well, adapting to this place is not my favor thing, I think this is a awesome place, with some awesome people too, and awesome shopping malls, happenings and stuff, but then you know, home is still a home, we have to go back to our home because it’s the place where we grow up. I want to make my hometown a better place to live so I am so hommie. Penang rocks.

    Jocelyn, me and Kah Sing.

We spent time walking in Sunway Pyramid and talking at McDonald’s, actually walking around shopping malls is a good thing to do to past time, window shopping takes a long time, it’s fun and it doesn’t require any money too. The time pass even faster if the mall is huge and you walk slowly, that’s what we did.

However we had too much time at there and we didn’t know where to go, end up sitting in McDonald’s, playing Fruit Ninja.

Min Xiang, me, Theng Theng and Chun Khai.

End up the high score of Fruit Ninja on my iPhone and iPad got pwned by them. Really very pro. Haha.

  • To Pavilion with Arvin, Wanyi, Lai Quen, Zhi Inn, Connie and Nita

To Pavilion with Arvin, Wanyi, Lai Quen, Zhi Inn, Connie and Nita

It’s a title full of names because I don’t know what title to write for this post already. Hahaha. Talking about the names, they are my classmate, school mate, friends in Kuala Lumpur. Tall, short, cute, kid, handsome, pretty, pro, fun, funny and noisy are the adjective describing them.

On don’t know which Friday, I think it’s the 2 Fridays ago, we went to Pavilion together by LRT. We are a bunch of kiam-siap (selfish) people that we parked our car at Taman Bahagia’s housing area because it’s free then walked to Taman Bahagia’s LRT station. Hahaha.

Actually my plan was go walk around Pavilion because it had been quite some time I didn’t go downtown and want to spend times with friends instead of just sitting in room, looking at the computer screen, then one of my subject require us to take photos of retail shop, so went to take photos too and also walk.

What a hot day that we alighted at KLCC station and walked to Pavilion. I actually like Pavilion more than any other mall because of the nice interior design, but not the price of the items and food. =D

You know I did not eat any breakfast that morning and we reached Pavilion around 3pm, really hungry die me that afternoon and we went to food court straight away because food court has the cheapest food? NOT.

    IMG_5090
Lai Quen of Kepong, Connie of Sandakan, Zhi Inn of Muar, Arvin of Medan, Wanyi of Penang and Nita of Penang. It’s so everywhere of us.

Shockingly, Pavilion was quiet in a Friday’s afternoon, it’s so not like Singapore or Hong Kong where people are everywhere in the mall, where are the freaking Malaysian?

Went to check out Uniqlo for a while, sadly there’s no sale and summer season clothing are not here yet, aduhainya. Then we went back after that, by LRT again.
  • Bak Kut Teh, Random and Bukit Bintang with Arron Lim and Tee Jin

Bak Kut Teh, Random and Bukit Bintang with Arron Lim and Tee Jin

I kinda miss the time back in high school when I update my blog so frequent that friends have become part of my blog content. Haha. I share part of my life in this blog and write about peoples and happenings around me. Sharing is caring, caring is sharing.

Cut the crap and let’s get into the sharing about some random stuff that happened few weeks back in Kuala Lumpur. I went out with Arron and Tee Jin, which both were my classmate 3 years back and thankfully we are still in touch because we are near, one in Sepang (not so near, still nearer than Penang) and one in Kelana Jaya, we meet, occasionally. =D

We went to Bak Kut Teh (sorry not halal a bit) at Klang famous Bak Kut Teh area at night and now only we know that Bak Kut Teh at there don’t really open at night. Haha. We thought that Bak Kut Teh are supposed to be opened at night, till late but we were wrong. Haha. Luckily, there’s still got one opens at night.

After Bak Kut Teh we went to Tropicana City Mall, my favourite place to watch movie because there has GSC and I hate TGV @ Sunway Pyramid a lot, they sucks to the max, expensive die! What a coincident that we met Xiu Xin at there, but he didn’t join us for movie. We watched The King Speech and frankly, it’s boring and I want subtitle. Haha. Hard to listen to English with British accent.

We went elsewhere the next day, it’s a weekend by the way and we met again. Haha. The next day was super random, dinner at Taman Megah that a spontaneous trip to KLCC on the Kelana Jaya LRT, pointless, just go there for fun to take a walk. 3 men. Haha.

As usual, park at Taman Bahagia station because of free parking then we sit LRT train. Haha.

    Test drive at Pavilion. =D

    KFC.

First time checking out BB Park.

You know when coming to Bukit Bintang it’s like going the Middle East because the tourists from Middle East are damn lot and it’s not really nice walking that night because of the warm night weather, really sucks, I prefer staying inside the mall.

    Blue Man

Another thing is I kinda dislike is the five foot path at there is just so dirty. =D

Then we went back home. Hehe. Chien Chern came that day actually and we went to play pool until late midnight.

  • Kuala Lumpur’s Central Market, Petaling Street and Dataran Merdeka with Xiu Xin

Kuala Lumpur’s Central Market, Petaling Street and Dataran Merdeka with Xiu Xin

In the last post, I talk about the Western Market then now I want to talk to something similar here in Malaysia, an art and craft market that is located in central Kuala Lumpur, it’s the Central Market. Haha. With a little curiosity of what’s there, I went to check out the place with a Penang friend, Xiu Xin few weeks back.

    Central Market

He’s Xiu Xin, my high school friend.

Also because of boredness, and don’t feel like staying at home, we went for a walk in town. I am living in Bandar Sunway and I don’t really like it here, I prefer the city, downtown, where there’s more colours and life. Satelite city like these are boring, building are uglys and one more thing, Klang Valley is too big for me. I prefer a small place where everywhere is easily accessible, like my hometown, Penang! Hehe.

We actually took the Kelana Jaya Line LRT and allighted at Pasar Seni, then we walked to Central Market. It’s actually stones throw away from the LRT station.

The building is pretty nice, has some heritage feeling but it’s like crowded with tourists and visitors. It’s another tourist’s attraction in Malaysia, a place targeting tourists mostly, and a minority of locals. We were boring, so we went to check out the place.

Rabbit years for the Chinese! =)

Upon entering the place, you will see many stalls inside selling souvinirs stuff like post card, keychains and more. There’s even a few cafe and restaurant located in there and for sure this place is bigger than Hong Kong’s Western Market that I have visited recently.

I wonder why “whatever” market has to sell arts and crafts and souvinirs stuff, why can’t they sell food? Haha.

Actually there’s nothing much in there. Nothing fancy us, not even the toilet because we need to pay so we didn’t bother to use the toilet. Just walk a round, take some photos, then we were off to somewhere else.

Any nice thing to recommend at Central Market? =)

    Petaling Street

Actually I was not very sure what our trip that day was about. It was just simply walking around the town, talking with Xiu Xin and check out the area. Places came in spontaneously. After checking out Central Market, we went to walk around Petaling Street, the so called Chinatown for Kuala Lumpur. Actually the whole Malaysia is a Chinatown already. Haha.

Xiu Xin actually didn’t really come to this place for a long time, so I brought him around the place. The last time I went was to check out a basketball competition in town. =D

Despite all these signage saying no pirated and imitation products, but they are still everywhere on Petaling Street.

Loong Kee’s bakgua is awesome. Hehe.

Randomly found a Chinese temple. LIKES!

    Merdeka Square / Dataran Merdeka

Next up we continue walking, from Petaling Street to don’t know where. Then we saw signs pointing a side to Dataran Merdeka, also known as Merdeka Square, so we walked to that direction.

Well, this is quite new to me. I only passed by the area in car but never really walk by this place, so it’s quite fun and exciting. Luckily the weather that day was not that sunny, a little bit warm, a little bit of perspiration breaking out from the body, but it still good.

This place is actually where the father of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman announced the Independence of Malaysia. Notice the brick building on the right, it’s one of the famous building in Malaysia, it’s Sultan Abdul Samad Building.

Well, after that, there’s no more. We went back, but actually we went to KLCC to look for some stuff only go back to the LRT station where we came from.

The Masjid Jamek Station is the interchange between two lines, Kelana Jaya and Ampang Line but very sucks is that they have to walk across the street to change line. What a lousy Malaysian public transportation.

Justin Timberlake?! What the hell and notice UIA is actually stands for International Islamic University. LOL.

Above are some extra photos taken while walking to the LRT station. Seriously, I don’t even know how we get there. If were to ask us to go back to Pasar Seni LRT, I think we couldn’t make it, cause we had forgotten the path. Haha.

  • An Interior Behaviour Study Class

    An Interior Behaviour Study Class

Another day in uni which is the just recent Thursday. =D Design course is not exam-oriented, it’s not about memorizing but it’s more on concept and thinking. Ah! Everyday, I think think think and think to do assignent, which is quite tiring to me, but somehow fun after getting outcome.

Sometimes, I thought, why not just give me exam and take away all the assignment because high school time was all about exam instead of assignment. Exam are easy IMO, it’s just study and memorizing. Haha. But assignment is always about thinking and enhancing the work to perfect.

Interior Behaviour Study is one of the subject I’ve got for this semester. It’s about study on the relationship of human behaviour with interior design. It’s theory again, but the there’s more hands-on work than reading. =(

CK and Arowa from Saudi Arabia.

And my lecturer CK is a perfectionist, so work always get rejected and I always thinking hard on how to do well on the project. Well, it’s OK, I can’t complain that much, yet it’s pretty tiring I feel. Current project is about designing a social place on existing Taylor’s site in-related to the human needs at that site. I think you probably don’t know what am I talk about, cut the crap. Haha.

Tell you something, Indonesian really love BlackBerry a lot. I have no idea why. You can see people with BlackBerry in Taylor’s are mostly Indonesian and they always BBM nonstop. Haa.

Farah, Jia Hui, Steve and Wesley. =D

It’s another day in class and the day was a tutorial on the on-going project we are doing right now. Worksome, and not-awesome. One thing not nice about the class is it’s 4 hours straight with no meal break. So I need to prepare myself a small packet of cookies to eat in class.

LOL. NA from Vincent of Vietnam.

    Aseel look so EMO.

    Hyper Aida.

Shy shy Wanyi from Penang, Nita and Mellysa from Medan. =D Really International class. Haha.

The fun about being in a small class is that you get close attention and the not-fun is you don’t get to meet new person throughout the course, unless you walk upfront to student of other courses.

And the nice thing about studying in Taylor’s is you meet people of different places. Sweet. =D

    Kevin!

English, Mandarin, Hokkien and Malay are the medium of conversation in class. Haha. Multi-languages class. Nice to know that Medan’s Hokkien is almost identical to Penang Hokkien, just unfortunately there’s no people speaking the KL’s local Cantonese dialect which I use to speak to my family.

Vain Wesley from Seremban and Kevin from Vietnam.

    Act cool Arvin of Medan.

Ah! I need to catch up with my assignment already. =X Any idea on creating a new interacting spaces on a walkway? Haha.

  • SS2 Mall, A New Mall In Petaling Jaya

SS2 Mall, A New Mall In Petaling Jaya

SS2 Mall or SS Two Mall is a new hang out places located in the housing area of SS2 in Petaling Jaya. I accidentally found this place while on the way out from Tropicana City Mall. Because of curiousity, I stopped by and went to check it out with dearest, Hueisean. It seems empty on the first impression maybe because it’s new, but is’s pretty cool.

It’s not really a shopping mall, it’s something like Straits Quay in Penang, or Sunway Giza in Kota Damansara to be simple. A place targeted to the community around there and housing lots of F&B outlets.

There’s already quite some restaurants opened at there already. I didn’t try any there, guess I’ll go there when it’s more happening and more things to see.

There’s a open space down below the mall. Pretty nice, if there’s live band and cafe, and lots fo people, then this will be a nice place.

Hopefully the place get built up soon so I will have a new hang out place in PJ. Yeah.

  • Random x Taylor’s Life in 2011

    Random x Taylor’s Life in 2011

Hello guys. It seems like everytime I will start up my post with, “Sorry for not blogging lately and blablabla”. Haha. I am so slow and so out of blogging right now. One thing I want to say is I am not quitting my blog, I love this space, a space for me to share whenever I want, my photos, my life and everything. Just that the enthusiasm isn’t as strong as last time already. Lots of study stuff to do, interaction issues, play, girlfriend, friends and family.

Anyway, I still gonna get this blog updating and keep nickchan.net on the net and Google search. =)

Rasyid bought a new camera and shooting at the cake brought by Arvin from Indonesia.

Since I am writing a post again, I want to give a shout out there, to those Chung Ling High School friends, old friends that haven’t meet for quite a long time, how are you guys? Hope you guys are doing good, so do I.

The guy in blue is Rasyid, one of the first few person I met when I came to Taylor’s last year.

Well, I am just gonna post something random, photos taken weeks ago at here about uni life in city of Kuala Lumpur.

The very famous Farah. Haha. I don’t wanna talk about the famous-ness here. Lalala.

So, it’s a new semester, moved into the second semester of the course and everything is getting on track, and assignment and homework are getting heavier and harder and more sleepless night coming ahead. I think reorganize and rethink my way of study, I think study shouldn’t be hard and suffering, it should be fun. Study smart?

Hello Anastasia! People always just don’t know where her home country is, Belarus, the one between Poland and Russia.

I believe in college and university, there’s always a lecturer that’s very picky, troublesome and perfectionist, which makes work harder. Everyone hates, dislikes or better saying, uncomfortable with him, but I believe he is bringing something good to us. Hopefully he will turn me into a good designer. Do you have a lecturer that’s gives you many troublesome task?

The over high self-confidence MJ from Iran which having a Bieber Fever right now.

“Don’t be sad or angry if your design/idea get rejected because in the real world, it’s a very common stuff, people only pick one for the end product, and afterall, it’s still your design.” Pretty cool huh?

    Vincent from Vietnam

In uni, I learned to swear in Vietnamese, “Dit mei mai” something something, which I don’t want to tell you what it means, because I am unsure about it. Haha. I know it’s “Dit” something. Haha. One good thing about coming over here to study is I met people from different places, both local and International. It’s quite a good experience knowing people from everywhere.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are my study days. That’s all, yet assignment and work filled my weekend. Time management is really an important thing at this time, I am very poor in managing time and hopefully someone can guide me through it. Hehe. So tomorrow I’ll be having class from 10-12. That’s all, but then work. Aduhainya.

Ok, chao! Happy college and university-ing. By the way, Taylor’s has a nice homemade ice cream stall at V Cafe. Yum yum.

  • Chew Chew Chow Tofu (Stinky Tofu) At Taman Connaught Pasar Malam

Chew Chew Chow Tofu (Stinky Tofu) At Taman Connaught Pasar Malam

I went to the famous and longest night market in Kuala Lumpur last Wednesday night and that’s the Taman Connaught Pasar Malam. After visiting the night market here, I felt that Penang’s night market is not that happenings and have less food. Nevertheless, they still rocks as I am a night market fan.

I realized that they do sell the stinky tofu (fermented tofu) here at the night market, which is pretty cool because all the while, I thought these stinky tofu is only available in Hong Kong and China, Kuala Lumpur have them too! At Taman Connaught night market, there’s one famous one which is the Chew Chew Chow Tofu which always has people queuing up for their stinky tofu.

It really smells bad but seeing so many people were in the line, I and my friend joined in too, to find out how stinky they are.

They are tiny fried tofu but with a strong odor. There’s small little pieces and also big pieces of tofus.

Well, just to try out, we bought 4 little pieces. It’s not tofu itself only, but with some sweet sauce and a little bit picked vegetable on top.

So how’s the taste? Just a little crispy thingy, tasted good, but super not healthy cause it’s deep fried and the oil reuse and reuse again. The odor didn’t get that strong after that, perhaps inhaling too much of them. Somehow, I felt that’s it’s not so same as the one I had in Hong Kong few years back, the odor were stronger. Anyway, I am going to Hong Kong in a few weeks time, and I am going to check it out again. =D

My friends Arron and Carmen have a try on it too, and they told me that it’s nothing special, but still tasted not bad or ok-good.

So what do you think? Do you like stinky tofu?

  • Awesome Hindu’s Thaipusam Festival At Batu Caves

Awesome Hindu’s Thaipusam Festival At Batu Caves

Jam at MRR2 near to Batu Caves.

Thaipusam o Thaipusam. Last time, friends always invited me to go photoshoot at Thaipusam but I always didn’t go with them. Last year, I got to see a little part of Thaipusam happened at Dato Keramat of Penang where people throw coconut for praying and I got to join in with my friend Arron and Chien Chern.

When I was back in Penang few weeks ago, I thought “OMG, I am gonna miss Thaipusam this year because I will not be in Penang at that time”. Then I thought again, “I can celebrate and check it out in KL!”.

Parking by the roadside like 2KM before Batu Caves. Really crazy man. Clap for us as we parked close. Hehe.

Yeah, KL, Kuala Lumpur is one of the place that celebrate Thaipusam too, besides Penang. So on the day itself, I didn’t go there as early as those photography enthusiast does, I went there after lunch in the afternoon with Arron again, but this time not Chien Chern, instead is a girl, Carmen from Penang too! Both of them residing far at Sepang and only get to come down to town during holidays and went to check out the Thaipusam festival at Batu Caves.

At first we thought of not going there because was afraid of traffic congestion and hard to find parking but after checking through the net about the traffic, it was just all clear only until near to Batu Caves. Really surprise that the traffic was super duper smooth all the way from Bandar Sunway to MRR2 near Batu Caves, there’s not even a little jam, really weird. LDP is an expressway that is always jam or slow but that day was just an exception.

While our vehicle getting close to Batu Caves, there’s already vehicle parking by the roadside as far as 2KM from Batu Caves. We didn’t want to park there as it was hot and we kept on believe that there will be parking space for us at a nearer spot.

There’s even illegal parking collector collecting a fee of RM10. Being a stingy person, we didn’t want to park there and we got moving and we found a nice place, just less than 500m from Batu Caves, according to the GPS. Haha.

Me, Arron and Carmen. All Penang-kia.

We should have take the KTM to Batu Caves as the station was just right beside it. But one thing, KTM sucks! Slow and dirty.

Yay, we reached Batu Caves safely and I was pretty excited because I got to take photos. I should have bring my DSLR with me but then this trip to Batu Caves was quite spontaneous as we didn’t really plan the trip. Luckily I have my Panasonic with me and it served me well all the time.

The weather was pretty hot and sunny. Perhaps it’s Thaipusam. Anyway, since we were here, so it’s nothing good of hiding under the shade, so we just keep walking where everyone was walking to, the cave, the Batu Caves.

Well, Tzu-Chi went there to remind people not to throw rubbish on the floor but…

In case you don’t know, Thaipusam is a religious festival of the Hindu. According to Wikipedia, Thaipusam is a Hindu festival celebrated mostly by the Tamil community on the full moon in the Tamil month of Thai (January/February).

Rocks is that Malaysia is a multi-racial country where I can join the fun too! =)

Outside the famous Sri Subramaniar Swamy temple.

Frankly, I felt I was in Indian when I was there. Haha. It’s Indian anywhere! And they are friendly too. =)

Your current Prime Minister of Malaysia, Najib. Haha. He is real big.

    I say peace as it’s awesome. =)

    Red Air Asia clowns. Cute.

Saw many sponsor booths at there and one of which is Air Asia which attracted me as the booth had the most crowds. Though, I didn’t get close because I didn’t know what was speaking on the speaker, it’s all tamil and I knew nothing, except “nan-de-ri” or something which means thank you.

    Slums of Batu Caves.

Well, what you see is Malaysia, not India. It’s just not good with the trash management where trash are everywhere. I was actually keen to see Indian poking mouths and body but instead, I only saw them carrying the heavy kawadee up hill to the cave. As for poking stuff, I saw it in Penang last time.

Us before going out and was trying to capture the statue behind but failed.

Well, I have no idea what the people standing by the rail were looking at, it sounds as if we were supe
rstar, just without the red carpet.

    Awesome art craft.

The cave wasn’t very tall or high after all, like about 5-6 storeys high but then the stairs up there was very steep. I really salute the people who carry the kawadee up, and kawadee is the thing that they carry on the back with their god statue on it.

Here we go. Up and down.

Another thing I saw was, the Indian devotees went up the stairs barefooted! It was a hot day and they walked barefooted. Really power.

Since there’s so many people on the stairs, we walked slowly and carefully, about 15 minutes, we reached the top. Many medical helpers were on standby there as some were almost fainted due to the heat.

Beautiful huge cave. I like it.

It was my first time being a nature cave and it is pretty. I love caves now. It’s not just a hole in the hill but it’s really a big caves which can house many people in there and there’s also a hole on top overlooking the sky. It would be creepy during full moon where moon shines in and a werewolf or vampire turned up. Haha.

    Monkeys!

    Smiling Indian kid.

Can you see the crowds? They just keep flowing in the cave.

Spent about 10 minutes in there, walking around and take a little photos then we went back down. It was just too crowded in there and a little bit smelly, no idea what smell was that..

It wasn’t that traffic jam when we was there, it was after we came. Really powerful.

And again, they were standing by the rail and looking at us. Hmm. Superstar?

    Yummy juicy coconut!

The weather turned a little bit hotter after we came down and it was just burning all over our skins. How I wish I could get into an air-conditioned place as soon as possible and then we found coconut stalls. Bought a coconut for each of us then we drank, really quenching and the coconut meat was so awesome, young and juicy. Rocks. Only downside was that it’s not cold. It’s warm!

And so, I concluded my trip to Batu Caves and we all said it was real awesome. Another place is visited in Kuala Lumpur, time to go for the next place. =D Any recommendation of place to go in Selangor area?

  • MSID 5Belas Interior Design Student Saturday at Taylor’s University

MSID 5Belas Interior Design Student Saturday at Taylor’s University

Yo people, this is kinda belated post where this happened last month. I have been lazy, sleepy and blablabla reason, but guess you guys don’t wanna hear my crap. Haha. So I’ll talk about MSID 5Belas Interior Design Student’s Saturday OK? =0

So as you know I am a Interior Design student right now at Taylor’s University, just done one semester there and I am so grateful that I got a chance to join the MSID 5Belas ID Student’s Saturday, this is actually an annual event by MSID (Malaysia Society of Interior Designers) for the college and university to get-together, join competition, have fun and interact, and also make friends. This year, the host and organizing school is my school, Taylor’s University.

I am not part of any worker, some asked me to be the photographer, but I rather to be free and easy, I joined a competition at there and that’s Amazing Race.

It’s a Saturday and the whole thing starts as early as 9am until closing and prize giving ceremony at 12.30am. Yeah, it’s a long more than 12 hours event. Really tiring that day, but still a good experience for me. Many, many, many people were there and there were 15 participating institution. Got UCSI, UiTM Perak, UiTM Shah Alam, Saito College, Limkokwing, KBU, Alfa and I don’t remind already. Haha. I wonder why Penang’s Equator Academy of Art was not there and also the famous One Academy, why?

Morning was like opening ceremony, then some random workshop and afternoon was like competitions and at night also competition plus performance. Almost everything was competition.

Initially I wanted to join the short film and the theme was “BIOSPHERE”, but then I’ve lost my inspiration so I quit. OMG. Some ask me to join again this year. I’ll see. Hehe. What I like about that day was not participating in Amazing Race, I tell you the game sucks, but the fun thing was it’s ALL FREE. Haha. Free food, lousy a bit but I finally had a moneyless day in Kuala Lumpur.

I’ll list some competition here: Montage Design, Short Film, Sony Videologue, Banting Design, Residential Design, Commercial Design, Fashion Design, Amazing Race, Graffiti Art, Furniture Design, Lighting Design, Installation. Yeah, it’s all about design, sometimes I wonder what’s fashion design have to do with Interior Design, but afterall we are design student, we design almost everything. =D

Well, Amazing Race is something that you think it’s fun but it’s not! You actually turned out panting, gasping for extra air and want to rest more because it’s about running all the time. Marathon from place to place. It started with running here and there to look for a key to unlock the padlock for the next clue. After running to and flo for many times, the next stop was to the library to look for A book.

The book-looking was a easy task and after that we have to run off campus to a temple which is like 15-20 minutes walk away under the super hot sun to get the next clue. We should have drove there. Then we need to go to Sunway Pyramid which is not in a walking distance, so we took 2 cab as we have 8 members in our team. One thing, we were given RM50 per team for the game which is the fun part.

At Sunway Pyramid, we searched for the pickled cucumber, bought it and eat all of it. It tasted good at first but it got disgusting later. Though successfully finish it up.

Last task was to play the archery. Not easy as holding the bow with left hand because I am a righty. Need a lot of strength but still manage to aim and shoot. This was fun and should go and play some other time. Steady hand and sharp eyes are needed. Well, taxi back campus and pitstop. Started last, but ended team 10. Not bad already.

    The fu
nny part of the day was the Fashion Design competition. The day’s theme was BIOSPHERE, I have no idea what that mean until now. It’s something environment, recycle and green stuff. Looking at the model’s make up and the creativity of their designer, I felt halloween. Haha.

But I did see some simplicity and minimalist nice. However, since people more like into complicated stuff, an underwater zombie won that day.

Other highlights for the rest of the days was just taking look at some lighting design and enjoy the Talent Time performance at night. Each institution came up with their performing team and perform. Simple as that and we enjoy the show. Woo.

I don’t know why my school didn’t really get many prizes that day, was it because that we were the organizer or ? Hmm. We’ll see on the next MSID 16 this year. =D
