  • Blue Sky Day In Taylor’s University

Blue Sky Day In Taylor's University

Blue Sky Day In Taylor’s University – Another post of Taylor’s University, guess I’ll let the photo speaks instead. Took my Panasonic LX5 to school last week instead of my Canon DSLR and here are my shots that I have taken. It was a nice morning with big blue sky.

I really love blue sky as it gives more color to the day and life. I knew that when it’s near to year end, the sky is getting bluer. It makes taking photos fun and nice too!

Everyday I park at a far place – the free parking zone and take a nice morning walk to school. It’s nice to walk when it’s not raining and sunny, it’s nice to walk on the tar road, but not the rocky road.

That morning, I aw the playful goose walking around the carpark. Why I said they are playful because they don’t want to stay in the water and intrude human’s territory in the campus. Haha. They really make the whole Taylor’s University home, enjoying every part of the school which is comfortable to them.

Reading about Taoism in class and I still don’t really understand the religion.

    Steve Pang acting emo. =D

Loving every part of my MacBook Pro but one cons is that it’s making my back ache as it’s heavy! And its not really good for interior design studio because of software limitation.

See the traffic jam at 6pm! The whole school is stuck with traffic.

Campus life so far so good for me, just I kinda miss home at the moment and lots of assignment. Haha.

  • Mini Flashmob In Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus

Mini Flashmob In Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus – I was chilling under the tree in my campus last week and suddenly I saw a group of people in black t-shirt, wearing a white mask walking around the lakeside area. Suddenly, a sharp whistle sound was heard in the air.

In light speed, the group of mysterious people stopped their action, as if the time was frozen and a living statue was form. It’s a flashmob thingy. I believe it’s one of their class activity in school as their lecturer was around taking photos.

It wasn’t really very sunny, I took my camera, and went to take photos with them.

A little while, whistle sound can be heard again, they started moving to another area and preparing for another act, and whistle blew again, they stopped again, and we took photos with them again. It was pretty fun, but sooner it’s get sunny and I went back to my comfy zone under the shade.

I wonder what’s their reaction and thinking when saw me and Wesley fooling around them.

    =D

  • Walk Walk At Bukit Bintang With Hueisean

Walk Walk At Bukit Bintang With Hueisean – Sorry if I have been posting many photos/posts about Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur downtown or the city because recently (more to come) I have been to downtown KL quite some times and I have taken many photos which I want to share with all of you. =)

The glass wall outside the RapidKL KLCC Station ticketing counter.

Hueisean’s first time at Uniqlo, which is also my favourite Japanese brand.

It was a Saturday, and I went to town with my dearly Hueisean to walk, to shop, to see, to shoot and to eat. As usual, Kelana Jaya Line Rapid KL LRT was our transportation to town, and of course the wonderful pairs of leg that we all have got.

She told me that Garrett’s popcorn is good! And have been eating many in Singapore and now it’s here in Malaysia, in KLCC. Gonna check it out when it’s open.

I’ll take it as an exercise walk in town because I find it quite effective as I believe there’s more than 5KM I have walked on that day, perhaps more.

Taking photos of Garrett’s Popcorn … store.

Went to check out Tokyo Street in Pavilion, the new shopping zone in the mall.

Everytime I go downtown to window shop, it’s always KLCC > Pavilion > Fahrenheit 88 > Sungei Wang > Lowyat Plaza only then go back home. Imagine how far and long I walk to and at this places. It’s tiring yet fun. Though that day only covers a little bit of KLCC, many bit of Pavilion, a little bit of Fahrenheitt 88 and more a bit of Sungei Wang.

Hueisean seldom come to KL, so she doesn’t really familiar the way around and so I was her guide for her shopping day. =D It’s not saying that Penang doesn’t have good mall, it’s that the mall here has more choice and I hope that one day my hometown, Penang’s shopping mall can be on par with the one in Kuala Lumpur. =D Haha. I think Gurney Paragon shopping centre will be awesome.

Went to check out the new shopping zone in Pavilion which is the Tokyo Street – featuring many Japanese oriented and based shops and restaurants. It’s a very cool and good idea, however there’s no Muji! How can Muji not in Malaysia yet, I am still waiting for Muji for their cool minimalist lifestyle products. Overall, this place is nice, you can get many Japanese snacks and food here.

Walk walk walk, snap snap snap, see see see, I’ll let the photos of speaks.

The Click Shop is a very nice camera shop that sells Lomography camera. I really amaze that a blogshop can make it into an outlet at the prestige shopping mall – Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. The interiors and decorations make it look premium too. Somehow, I am more into vintage camera than lomo camera now.

Sunset at Bukit Bintang. You are not allow to step or stand or walk on the grass platform. Really lousy.

Here comes the famous Bukit Bintang cross road.

The giant LED cube by YES 4G. I prefer having the screen showing like news instead of re-run of YES 4G commercial on it. Though, it’s really very awesome.

Only now I know that Sungei Wang’s toilet is free. Woohoo. I hate finding RM0.20/RM0.30 coins for toilet. Really ridiculous.

After touring Sungei Wang Plaza, while walking home, we found something interesting at the Bukit Bintang cross road, in front of the giant LED screen above Maybank. Crowds were standing there, taking photos, smile, and having fun. We were curious and went to check it out.

I see us on the big big screen. No wonder everyone was standing there to take a look, at themselves. We, too, looked at the screen. It’s actually a promo for the upcoming F&N Big Fun Fest on 24th September 2011 where the area will be turn into a dance party. People will be dancing, and will be shown live on the big big screen. It’s sort of like a flash mob and you can learn the dance on Facebook too and join the fun!

Then, we went back home. Yeah! What a fun Saturday.

  • Midnight In The Hotel Room

    Untitled

I am still not asleep when everyone as has already fall asleep. I am spending my own sweet time in front of the computer. The night is not really young right now and I want to get into the dreamland soon. I wonder what I will dream of tonight, or maybe just a dream that I will forget upon waking up. I dreamed about stock market and security last night which was pretty weird, and cool.

I look around, it’s a pitch black darkness, it’s only the computer that is shining my sight at this moment. Good night my fellow friends, and how was your Malaysia Day people? Happy weekends!

  • Happy Malaysia Day To Everyone

    IMG_3406 copy

Today is September 16th, I hope it’s not too late and I would like to wish you all have a super duper Happy Malaysia Day! It’s a public holiday, enjoy your weekend and love your country. I love my country so much! You know, Malaysia get independence 31st August 1957 and the real Malaysia was form with the combination of Sabah and Sarawak on 16th September 1963. Woohoo! Despite not being the first world country, I still support and like it a lot.

  • Colourless Thursday In Taylor’s University

Happy Malaysia Day my fellow friends! Woohoo! Finally, after so many years that this day get recognized.

Thursday was no good to me. I got emotional, there’s many thought went through my mind, I just kept thinking that I was doing not so well in studies and I tell myself I must try my best and work hard. I am really bad in hand or manual drawing, give me a computer and a mouse, I rather use the computer then use the hand.

Haha, you might be thinking why I choose interior design despite not good at drawing. I wonder is it necessary? It’s a creative subject, it uses the mind more than hand in my opinion.

I realised that there’s many good “drawer” or artist in the class which makes me feel lousy. Though, I feel good now, I told myself, I must work hard to be better and the best. I feel better now after taking photos in black and white. Woohoo.

Thursday is always a tiring day for me because class is from 8am to 7pm with only just an hour of break at noon for lunch. The study hour is even longer than a working person. Haha, I seriously think that they should reedit the timetable again. Computer Aided Design, Moral Eduation, Design Studio and lastly Building Construction.

Hmm… Not really a good afternoon in uni and I did feel stress and tired.

    Untitled

Afterall, let’s forget about the down-ness and check out Malaysia’s Day today. Where you guys going? Going to check out the parade at Dataran Merdeka? I wish I could, but I just couldn’t. Have some other plans today. =D

  • Changkat Bukit Bintang And KL Tower At Night

Changkat Bukit Bintang And KL Tower At Night

Changkat Bukit Bintang And KL Tower At Night – Kuala Lumpur is an awesome place to explore, it’s a very happening place during the weekend, especially at night. When night falls, all the night animal comes out from their zoo to the city, to eat, to explore, to hunt and to party.

One fine Saturday night, I went to town – Kuala Lumpur with my Penang friend, for fun, and to find chicken wings to eat on Jalan Alor.

It’s not an quiet Saturday night, but rather noisy, happenings, with traffic jam on the road, people all around the food stalls area and city lights shining up the night skyline.

We went to Jalan Alor first to look for the famous roasted chicken wings that I have always heard which I never get to try, however I am proud to say, I have tried it and will show you the photo of the roasted chicken wing in the next post. =D

On a Saturday night, it’s not really easy to find a parking around town. Illegal parking fee collector collect as much as RM10 or more for parking. We went to a few parking which is at RM7 rate, but we insisted not to park and wanted to find something cheaper, and lastly, we found RM5, that’s right beside the road, still dangerous and will be fined if there’s traffic police. I wonder do traffic police works at night or not?

Jalan Alor is really happening, it’s like Hong Kong’s Temple Street, but what’s making me not pleasant is that many foreign worker from Myammar, Nepal, China and others working here, touting customer to their restaurant.

Later then, we went to check out Changkat Bukit Bintang, the famous street full of pubs and restaurants. I didn’t know about this place at first, only until I read about it on Lonely Planet travel guide. It was my first time visiting the street. Do you know that there’s gay pub here? HAHAHA, I am not gay by the way, just sharing out with you guys.

It’s really happenings that every pubs and restaurant were full of people in the middle of the night, I wonder where they came from. It’s just like Clarke Quay in Singapore or Lan Kwai Fong in Hong Kong.

Changkat Bukit Bintang And KL Tower At Night

We ended our trip with a visit to the bottom of KL Tower. =D

  • Japanese Funny And Awesome Windows Phone Commercial

Japanese Funny And Awesome Windows Phone Commercial

Japanese Funny And Awesome Windows Phone CommercialMobile phone‘s TV commercials are always very standard, like showing off the features, the design and that’s all. The Japanese is really good at producing TV commercial and check out this Windows Phone commercial which I think it’s real funny and awesome. Most important is that the funny moment keeps playing in my head which makes their ad successful.

    [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIz4C93i-U8&w=640&h=390]

Although it’s still showing off its feature design and more, though it’s very innovative that finding a comedian/joker to talk about the phone. Look at his expression, his action and his way of talking, really funny.

  • Big Big Cursor Stylus For Your iPad

    [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40G3WkTaGN4]

Big Big Cursor Stylus For Your iPad – I found a very cool thing for your iPad 2. Instead of having a normal pen stylus, you can check out the Big Big Cursor stylus which looks pretty cute and cool for your iPad. It makes using iPad a new experience with the special big stylus which actually shaped like the mouse cursor on your computer screen.

Big Big Cursor Stylus For Your iPad

iPad actually built without the need of stylus, but then don’t you think with a stylus makes life easier using the iPad like drawing and taking notes?

Screen Shot 2011-09-14 at 4.17.52 PM

Well, you might think that it’s hard to bring around but you have no worry because it’s magnetic and sticks on your magnetic iPad 2 or you can just adhere it to the refrigerator as decorative purpose. No luck for old iPad 1 user like me.

    Check it out <a class="wpGallery mceItem" title="gallery2" href="http://www.bigbigcursor.com/#!prettyPhotohere.
