Away to PLKN (Day 32): Part 2 for 5SA1 Farewell and Gathering
It’s now come to part 2 of 5SA1 Farewell and Gathering. Here comes more photos and less words. I don’t know what to write already. Please forgive me. Haha.
So to talk about this in short, we had farewell and gathering on last year’s 31st October at Town Steamboat Restaurant. There’s 41 classmates attended and teachers which include Ms Chin Wee Kem and her husband, Ms Tan Lon Eng, Ms Kang Kul Lee, Ms Teh Phaik Keow, Mrs Goh and Mr Ong Chin Hua.

We love taking photos with Jing Xiang. Why Miss Kang face like that?Ms Teh Phaik Keow very give face to us because for all the while, student invite her to farewell or party, she won’t go and she said this time was the first time for her. Nice!

Cheers with tea. There’s no alcohol so we took Chinese tea to replace alcohol. Yeah!
Photo before teacher went home. The photo session was like never ending, we kept taking from start to the end of steamboat. Everyone was addicted to my camera. Seems like there’s only one camera appearing at there, no one want to take photos, and I had become the photo man and the 400D had become the official camera for the event. LOL.

At first, it’s only Ms Chin’s husband drink tea, Beng Tian and Young Hean then join in with him to drink together, then in the end, everyone went to drink tea with Ms Chin’s husband. Haha.
Miss Teh Phaik Keow, you rocks. My Leo Club advisor, my Add Math teacher, my Math teacher, my Form teacher. Woo.
Powerful Chee Pherng, carrying heavy Ee Teng.
Bye Bye Mr Ong. My Moral got B+. Oops.I miss every of you guys, serious!

Away to PLKN (Day 30): PCGHS Food Fair
On 14 March 2010, I went to Penang Chinese Girls’ High School to check out their food fair. It had been quite some time I didn’t visit school organized food fair. In 2006, my school organized a food fair, but I was not there because I went outstation, that’s sad because Chung Ling High School don’t always organise food fair.
When I was Form 4, I attended Convent Datuk Keramat Secondary School food fair, could be said as my first time going to a school’s food fair. Then this PCGHS Food Fair could be my second time already.
Food fair are always fun with game stalls but not the food. I actually go there to check up stalls by Leo Club of Penang Chinese Girls’ High School, to see what they did and support support them. I don’t really know a lot of friends from that school except the Leo Club.

DSLR gang, Kelvin and Teik Hua.I went there at around 10am. It’s all traffic jam already at Jalan Gottlieb, the road outside PCGHS, all because of the food fair. Luckily I found a good parking spot. Went in alone and look for Leo Club’s booth. Later then Arron, Tee Jin, Chien Chern and Yiphing came and I went to join them
The Leo Club was a game booth. Their game was fishing, each player pays RM2 for a game and do like the Japanese style of fishing with a piece of paper instead of net. You can take home the fish you got. So it’s like buying fish at there. Haha.
Very hot day and keep sweating all the way. I met many Chung Ling juniors, friends, bloggers and Plurkers. Many people, very crowded, very happening, and I like, just I really hate the weather.

Plurkers.I was hungry and I ate my breakfast at there. Unfortunately, the food I ate sucks, it’s a Japanese Fried Rice. But gonna thank Arron for the sponsor of coupon so it was a free breakfast for that morning.
There’s many food, many things, many game stall. There’s also haunted house but we didn’t get a chance to go in because it’s closed when we were there. Sucks man. We thought that the Q would be shorter when we go in at the last minute, but they said the ghosts were tired already, so early closure. Oops.

Edmond, Hanna, Hui Mei and Liang Sun.
Lion Ong Lai was there too! My Regional District Chairperson for Leo Club and also Kok Sheng, vice president for Leo Cabinet. That morning was pretty fun also, but very hot.

Away to PLKN (Day 28): 5SA1 Farewell and Gathering at Steamboat House
This is super late and this happened on 31st October 2009! Yeah, that’s my class biggest farewell and gathering. It’s the last time we all together hang out and eat together. After that, no matter how many gathering, it will not be in full amount. Even that day, Guan Thye was not there with us. Sad.
So on this day, I went to Prangin Mall to meet up some of the classmate first. Jing Min was there to check out spectacles while Beng Tian and Young Hean went to arcade gaming. I went to join the fun of everyone! Only then at 7pm, we went to Town Steamboat Restaurant which is pretty near to Prangin Mall, less than 5 minutes drive.
I was pretty late already because when I arrived, everyone was there already, they were already there as early as 630pm.

Me receiving the cash prize from Chin Wee Kem.To spice up the night, they started off with lucky draw of cash prizes. Congratulation to all the lucky winner include me. Haha. The money actually come from us. We paid for the gathering and the t-shirt, you see our t-shirts are all the same, so we have some money left and turned it in to lucky draw’s cash prize. Yeah! I received RM10. Lucky man.

Shi Jie, Shaun and Yong Chieh. We also had entertainment like singing. Zuan Fu and Adrian brought guitar along and Juan Shong printed a lot of lyrics for us to singalong. Really very fun and very noisy!

Act cute pose of us, Hock Sheng, Beng Tian, Khai Hern and me.Keep eating, keep taking photos, keep screaming, keep shouting, that’s our gathering.

Don’t dare to show face because gambling. OMG.
Playing with the toy on my bagpack.
Acting cute again with Tee Jin in the middle.
See Juan Shong’s face, he’s so high.Took too many photos and will continue to part 2. =) Stay tune and will be back.

Away to PLKN (Day 27): I Am Going To Taylor’s University College
I’ve no idea how to tell you how’s my life in NS, still good I assume. ^^
In this coming July 2010, I will be going to Kuala Lumpur, the capital to pursue my study. Oh yeah, it’s something sad and exciting, going away from home to go study. For sure, I will homesick, and also friend-sick. LOL. I will miss everything back home, my comfy bed, my lovely big screen TV, my big room, my daddy, my mommy and everything at home. I will also miss all my friends and the magnificent six (include me), Arron, Chien Chern, Yiphing, Chaiwei and Chen Yuen, and also not in the magnificent Alvin, Ammerlynn, Zez Chien, and also many more. Haha.
Shit, I am talking like I am going to leave soon. Actually not, I will be still in Penang for like 3 months because my school only starts on the 26 of July 2010.
I’ll be studying Interior Design course at Taylor’s University College, hopefully I will meet you KL people at there. Hehe.

The Taylor’s Residence a.k.a. Hostel, was still in the middle of construction, hopefully it’s done when I arrive in campus. So why Taylor’s and not Penang? I want to go explore out-of-Penang, I want a campus life, I want to meet new people, I want to learn more, I like the school, it’s new and so on so on.

Nice lecture theater facing the lake.
Food court. We’ve visited the school 2 months ago and it’s really pretty. There’s a lake in the middle of the campus, everything is new, the classroom, the chairs, the tables and me. It’s newly built and open in January lately only. So it’s cool.
Penang has no pretty school, interior design at Penang’s The One Academy is new, Equator Academy is ugly, I must move on. =) I’ll talk more about it when I get into the college in July, oh yeah! Gonna enjoy most of my time with my family and friends here to the fullest first, and also NS.

Away to PLKN (Day 25): Ker Ying’s 18th Birthday at RED
NS! Around 80 more days to go. Very the long!
Shit, this was like a few weeks ago, sorry for so long no update your birthday, Ker Ying. =) On the very nice 2nd day of March 2010, at night, Ker Ying called me to RED KTV and Lounge at Belissa Row. She said it’s not really a birthday celebration, but somehow we already assumed it was and there’s birthday song too, just no cake!
It’s my first time going to RED. She told me how fun, how nice the place is and asked me along to check it out. Woo, it’s a lounge down there and up there is KTV. So basically, we sing on the upstairs and downstairs, people sing for us. I love KTV a lot and we had so much fun that night.
Met people like Mig, Terrence and Ernie. Gonna thanks Mig for the beer that night. ^^

Ker Ying and Sheue Yen who was still in her air stewardess uniform.Happy belated-birthday girl! It’s second year celebrating your birthday together already. Last year was at Manila Place and Segafredo. =)
Sorry guys, more belated-birthday write-ups are coming up. Hehe

Away to PLKN (Day 23): Form 1, Class 1T9 of 2005
I had a plan. My plan was go into PLKN (National Service) for don’t know how many days, then come out when Form 6 starts although I am not going to Form 6, so it would shorten my time in the camp. It was just my plan, I don’t know about this, so do stay tune for this space, or Twitter for my update. Maybe the camp is fun, who knows? Hehe.
But then, coming out from NS also will be a holiday like the 3 months before. My college starts in July and I will be studying Interior Design course. I like it! =) Talk about it next time.
Back to some random stuff, sharing 5 years back when I was Form 1, 13 years old that time, very young age, looking so childish and was studying in class 1T9 of 2005. I was still naive, I was not mature yet, I joke around all the time but it’s fun.
But one thing I very sure was, I was already addicted to the Internet and technology and gadget by that age. Everyday online to surf the net and online gaming.

Alvin Yang and me in 2005.Met friends like Alvin, Danny, Andy and Alex. But then now, everyone goes apart, to study and to everywhere. Still, nice to meet you guys!
Form 1 was not bad, always play, got go sing karaoke, got go watch movie, also got go hang out at the mall. Just, I didn’t look cool. Haha. Form 1 was also the year I really started blogging, that time was writing about games as I was so interested in game console.

Away to PLKN (Day 20): Back to Form 2TA4’s Foosball Outing
So how’s life people? Guess I am doing good here at the PLKN (National Service) camp. Do your place, your country has national service or army program? I know Singapore has it and the duration is 2 years, and it’s tough.
My Malaysia is something short, 3 months and they say it’s not tough. Though, I get to hold on to the real M-16 and fire a shot from it, yes, it’s only one shot, but it’s super fun! Bang Bang Bang.
Here’s what I found in my Flickr, it’s something old, like 4 years back when I was Form 2. During Form 2 that time, I studied in the class 2TA4, it’s year 2006, the second year for me being in secondary school. I made a lot of friends and organized an outing for my classmate. It’s going to Gurney Plaza, the usual place! Haha.
Looking back at the photos, I look so young, so child. But it’s fun being young! =) Miss the day back, a little but, but somehow I don’t have much memories before Form 3, maybe because I haven’t grown up yet. Hehe.

Me is inside! Next to me is Yik Chia. For RM2, can play the Foosball for 10 rounds as there’s 10 balls. They were not a Red Box kaki, so we didn’t go there.
2006 was like so many years ago! OMG, don’t feel like growing older but cannot. Move on yeah.

Japanese Don (Rice) For Lunch At Marufuku, Taylor’s University
Now I have a mission and that is pay all the F&B outlet in Taylor’s University a visit, I don’t really want to try all of what they offer but just eat out at all of the restaurant. This is because that there’s so many F&B outlet opening and opens at the commercial block area also known as Syopz @ Boardwalk, what a weird name. Being a student there, I need to try all only I allow myself to graduate. Haha.
For sure this can be done because this is only my first year in the university. =D I have tried a few and here’s one that I have been to lately, it’s a Japanese ramen and don restaurant called Marufuku.

Order and pay at the counter then a number will be given. Then wait for the food to be served. This restaurant specialized in ramen but also do sell don (rice) and have a variety of choice to choose from starting from RM7. I ordered myself a Oyaku Don (RM10) which is just chicken and egg. I was wanting to order the Curry Don (RM8) but I did not cause I just had it lately from the food court. Well about the taste and the experience, it’s not super awesome but for the price, I think it’s good, there should be more chicken though, maybe come with a miso soup then it will be perfect.
Here’s a Curry Don (RM8) that my friend order, look simple so I think the price should be lower a bit.

Another one is my friend’s Niku Don (RM12) which is a beef rice. Looks like vegetable slice instead of beef.
This place is opens to public. =)

Away to PLKN (Day 16): Lomo #3
At the very first time, when I knew about being chosen for PLKN, I was very scared. I was not sad, but scared, worried that how would I survive in the camp.
My mind go on and off for this PLKN. At first, I thought of going, Google a lot about it, then I didn’t get in the first batch, after a while, I didn’t feel like going already because the exciting feel went away, and then, I got news about being in the 2nd batch which is this batch that I am in currently, I become excited again. Friends who had went to, came back and told me about their experience and I felt not that bad afterall.

Arron and friend and his Sonata during SPM 2009.Being bald is not what I worry (actually got dislike a bit, hehe), but being disconnected from the world and outside was what I worried. No Internet, no mobile phone, no radio. This sucks a bit. Although we are allow to use the mobile phone on weekend, but for sure the Google Nexus One is not with me. If I bring it, I scared it being stolen, and no camera mobile phone too! It must be camera-less phone. Sucks.

Somewhere inside school, the field, on a rainy day. Then the next thing I worried was about gangsters inside, but I think nothing will happen if I do nothing to them. =)
15 days gone. Less than 85 more days to go! Yay.
