  • Bagman (Caseman) Messenger Bag / 6 Million Dollar Home Clone

2.05pm, school dismissed. I went to Grandma’s house for lunch. Had a delicious lunch after that, I went to the camera shop with mom in KOMTAR. =) Did a little shopping and I got myself a new camera bag. Yay!

    Bagman

It’s the Bagman (also known as Caseman) Messenger Camera Bag. It replaced my RM50 camera bag. This is a real camera bag as it padded nicely inside. Fits all my gear too!

    Bagman

It looks exactly the same as the Crumpler’s 6 Million Dollar Home but less 1 compartment and that is the one for people to put magazines. Since I only keep my camera and portable media player, so I don’t need it. I still have space for a water bottle inside too.

Sky blue padding inside. Removable padding and hard enough for protection. Rain proof on the outside as it is claimed.

I got this for RM150. Which is around RM100 cheaper than the Crumpler 6 Million Dollar Home.

A picture of 6 Million Dollar Home, by RippyZ. Isn’t it look just the same? Only different logo. =D

    Lowepro

In addition, I bought 2 Lowepro Lens Case. People will ask since I got a camera bag already, why still get a lens case? FYI, I got a lot of bags at home, from messenger to backpack, so sometimes when I take those bag out, I can have the lens case with me to protect my lens.

So when attending functions or event, this Bagman Messenger Bag is good with me as I can change my lens quickly and keep all my gear and accessories.

All these in total still not even reach the price of 7 Million Dollar Homes which I wanted to get last time. Cheer!

  • Day 1 : Night Bazaar

We arrived at Chiang Mai around 7pm. We were actually plan to visit Doi Suthep Temple on the first day, but too late already. So the tour company’s van drive us to the hotel.

We stayed at Suriwongse Hotel, a hotel that locate in the middle of a tourist spot – the Night Bazaar. We see a lot of people there, tourist especially, ang mo a lot. Great we were staying at that hotel, but the room sucks, never mind, we changed to a better room the next day.

After dinner, we walk down the street for shopping at the Night Bazaar or better known by us Pasar Malam/Night Market. I see those Chiang Mai people, wearing traditionals cloth (some) and carrying their baby on their bags, surprisingly their baby so guai, doesn’t scream and cry for milk, haha. People like my mom pity them sometimes will just buy some stuff from them.

    105_5960

See she look so happy when we bought something from her. My mom bought the silver bracelets for 100baht.

    105_5970

We walk down the street, a lot of stores there selling imitation shirts, shoes, shorts, believe to be handmade products, souvenirs, pirated cd/dvds and many many more things.

    105_5961

There sell a lot of this lamps. I also don’t know why, maybe the material there is cheap. Some looks nice.

    105_5975

Hmm, there is like our Batu Ferringhi where you can find a lot of cheap DVDs and CDs. No point for me to get it there as I can always get it here. Good for ang mos.

    105_5974

This is kinda cute, there is actually teddy bear in it. As decoration purpose, will look nice if put in a girl’s room. No girl in my family. So no buy. Mom also don’t want. Hehe.

    105_5978

This is one of the stalls set up by the roadside. The tour guide told us that the pasar malam/night market will be on every night, not like Chatuchak at Bangkok which only have on weekends. Shop till you drops.

    105_5962

This is a place where the seller set up stores, like a market like that. Got a lot of ladies’ shirt, handmade flower soap, massage and more. I and mom went to shopping while my dad went to Foot Massage, only 60baht/half hour. Cheap hor?

    105_5981

I came to this place, also call night bazaar, but the things there not interesting. You can find some scary things there for sale, like this :

    105_5986

I wonder who will ever buy this doll.

    105_5984

But they do have pro artist that draw very nice drawings, just almost same as the photos, background, everything. Look almost the same 90% same as the original photo. Envy, respect.

    See?

Stay tune for Day 2 of my Chiang Mai trip.

  • Random Photos Taken In Chung Ling

Do you have special toilet for VIP? Very Important (insert youself, something start with P). This toilet is old one, we do have new VIP toilet at the other side, and I went in before. It’s lock always.

  • Big Clamp Crab

Today, I went to a restaurant at Gurney Drive near the “beach” to have my lunch and I saw this special crab. Before going into crab, while I put ” ” between beach, because it is not actually beach, no ivory golden sand, but dirty ugly mud and it was low tide.

Have you ever seen this kind of crab which only have 1 big clamp and its body is very small? This is my first time seen it. My mom asked the worker there, they said that this is call Tua Gong(Big Clamp) crab, crab which only has one big clamp and other is very small and meatless. People only eat its clamp and this kind crab can’t grow bigger.

I saw a lot there, very lot. Somehow, the restaurant worker said that the crab there is not big enough, but they sometimes will catch it also. Here, people catch this kind of crab at Butterworth there.

    This 2 are fighting.

    Loves crab?

  • Gurney Drive

Long time didn’t post photo already. Here got one very familiar scene, as this is always from either my house’s balcony or my room’s window. I always take the same photo, haha. I like the sky colour but the lighting area were not sharp and a bit noise.

Gurney Drive is a must go place when you come to Penang. Shopping mall and food are famous here. You can go for a jog along Gurney Drive pedestrian walk way in the morning at the same enjoying the cool sea breeze. Then get yourself some nice Bak Kut Teh and Dim Sum at many of the restaurant down Gurney Drive. At night, you can go clubbing at Gurney Hotel there or enjoy some coffee while surfing the net at Coffee Bean or Starbucks Coffee which can be found at Gurney Hotel and Gurney Place (Gurney Plaza).
