Away to PLKN (Day 23): Form 1, Class 1T9 of 2005

I had a plan. My plan was go into PLKN (National Service) for don’t know how many days, then come out when Form 6 starts although I am not going to Form 6, so it would shorten my time in the camp. It was just my plan, I don’t know about this, so do stay tune for this space, or Twitter for my update. Maybe the camp is fun, who knows? Hehe.

But then, coming out from NS also will be a holiday like the 3 months before. My college starts in July and I will be studying Interior Design course. I like it! =) Talk about it next time.

Back to some random stuff, sharing 5 years back when I was Form 1, 13 years old that time, very young age, looking so childish and was studying in class 1T9 of 2005. I was still naive, I was not mature yet, I joke around all the time but it’s fun.

But one thing I very sure was, I was already addicted to the Internet and technology and gadget by that age. Everyday online to surf the net and online gaming.

Met friends like Alvin, Danny, Andy and Alex. But then now, everyone goes apart, to study and to everywhere. Still, nice to meet you guys!

Form 1 was not bad, always play, got go sing karaoke, got go watch movie, also got go hang out at the mall. Just, I didn’t look cool. Haha. Form 1 was also the year I really started blogging, that time was writing about games as I was so interested in game console.

Away to PLKN (Day 16): Lomo #3

At the very first time, when I knew about being chosen for PLKN, I was very scared. I was not sad, but scared, worried that how would I survive in the camp.

My mind go on and off for this PLKN. At first, I thought of going, Google a lot about it, then I didn’t get in the first batch, after a while, I didn’t feel like going already because the exciting feel went away, and then, I got news about being in the 2nd batch which is this batch that I am in currently, I become excited again. Friends who had went to, came back and told me about their experience and I felt not that bad afterall.

Being bald is not what I worry (actually got dislike a bit, hehe), but being disconnected from the world and outside was what I worried. No Internet, no mobile phone, no radio. This sucks a bit. Although we are allow to use the mobile phone on weekend, but for sure the Google Nexus One is not with me. If I bring it, I scared it being stolen, and no camera mobile phone too! It must be camera-less phone. Sucks.

Away to PLKN (Day 14): SPM 09 Result Day

Check out my SPM 09 Result Day. It happened on 11 March 2010 and it was a big day for me in my life. Although to some people, SPM is not very important because they think University and Pre-U are more important.

To me, they are all importants. SPM is a part of high school, if you score nicely, you will feel more happy. It’s not that if you don’t score nicely, your life is over, there’s still college, university for you to go on.

I told myself to try my best in it. I wanted to finish my high school happily and also happy after it. Even I don’t get straight As, I still go to college though, only that I get extra money for study, perhaps from the scholarships and grants. =)

Back to the day, my plan went all wrong for that morning. Results were said to be retrieve at 10am, I planned to wake up early, go to school to eat Maggi Mee and breakfast, then spend time taking photos, but I woke up late at 9, prepared everything and go at 945am, and arrived in school at 10am.

The traffic went so smooth, it’s all green light all the way from my house to school. Just in time! =D But I couldn’t go to eat breakfast already, I was so nervous that day, with Chien Chern together walked to the classes, very excited and nervous, yet feeling hungry and hot.

We were late, everyone was there already, but didn’t hear any screaming yet. I saw many Form 5 students sticking their head on the windows to join the fun. Indeed it’s a very happening day. I went to look for my classmate and start waiting.

Every started feeling uncomfortable and got even more excited because of the hot weather and the tick tock of time. It’s 1030am already and the result still haven’t arrived. Everyone was just keep talking and talking and talking. I couldn’t expect how my result will be, I didn’t have the confident, but I hoped it would be good. Something nice.

I’ve received text from friends of other school who had already received their result already, but not us. Damn slow. At around 1045am, an army of prefects walking towards our block with Mr Lye leading the way. It’s here finally!

He gave some instruction to those of where to take the result then we ran to. Ours were on the first floor, need to climb up the stairs again.

I was not the first to take. I see people took it and scream happily. I got even more nervous, I didn’t want to be the first to take, and also didn’t want to be the last. Wait, wait, wait and I took. “WOAH”, sound of weirdness. I was not very thrill, and also not very sad, but got the feeling of unsatisfied. I would say, the result sucks to me. I’ve got C for Chinese, sucks, B+ for Moral Ed, sucks, A- for Biology, sucks. Why Chinese can like that one?!

Nice to see the Form 5 Leo Club friends were there to check us out. Very good.

But from my result, I still got a chance to take a photo with everyone who got 8As and above and be on the paper. That’s fun. I don’t like myself of why always be the one that just got the lowest mark for photo taking, Form 3 that time also same, 7As and 8As can take photos and I’ve got 7As. Lousy me man.

Then saw my friend, Jia En, Form 3 classmate, Form 4 Managing Director of YE was interview by the media. He has got 13A+. Really pro and clever.

After hanging around the result taking place, I moved to the canteen to eat my breakfast. I didn’t really enjoy my food, maybe is because of the excitement and nervousness, the hungry feel was gone. Still, I filled my stomach with something then talk talk talk, talk about how suck my result is. Boo.

Away to PLKN (Day 11): My Workstation, Last Time to Current

Talking back about PLKN, why was I chosen? I got no idea. There’s 400-500k youth of my age and only 180k people got chosen, and I am one of the lucky one. Really very lucky. So, you guys are so not lucky.

Here’s some cool stuff, I found out my workstation looked like this back in 2006 when I was Form 2. I only have a 15″ LCD and it’s so damn cool, there’s a very noisy fan laptop too.

2006, I was not so blogger back then, but already an Internet addict.

2007, the screen become bigger. I was Form 3. It’s a 22″ Dell LCD. From then on, I started using Dell’s already.

2008, started using dual-screen setup.a 22 inch and a 17 inch. Love it very much.

2009, changed again. Changed from 22 inch to 24 inch. Still loving dual-screen, once dual-screen, I never get back, it looked cool and I can do so much thing from it.

Not bad right?

Away to PLKN (Day 9): Penang Tiger CNY Miao Hui Until At Night

Chinese New Year Penang Celebration Miao Hui 庙会 post is back again. This time I’ll show about what happened at night. I’ll let the photos speak more because I am in NS and I lazy to write more. So sorry people.

Some people stay there until 11am because there’s fireworks, I went home at around 1030pm already because I was too tired. I was there from 4pm till 10pm, it’s quite long for me, moreover I’ve been there before, so I didn’t want to stay until everything ended.

My aim was to visit every corner of the Miao Hui and finally we did, only that we did not see the fireworks. At night was prettier because there’s the lantern and light. Ideal for photoshooting.

Then I went to look for Kooi Jin who was the helper for GBBM which organized part of the event near Han Chiang’s Temple. Their theme was 忠 (zhong), literally means honest.

Away to PLKN (Day 5): Gift from China by a Singaporean Friend

I met a Singaporean friend online, his name is Paul and I want to thank him for getting me souvenirs from his China and Hong Kong trip. One day while coming back home, I am so surprised to see there’s a parcel on my doorstep and I there’s my name written on it. So excited because the souvenirs has finally arrived. =D

I saw Coke logo. Yes, I am a Coca-Cola cans fans and have been collecting the cans for few years already and is still collecting! He bought me Coke plastic cups which are pretty cool. Now, it’ll be something new for my Coke collection.

There’s also casing for Google Nexus One. So nice to see there’s accessories for the phone already. He didn’t know what color I like so bought all five, but still, I like the transparent white the most. =) Pretty!

By the way, HAPPY APRIL FOOL. Nothing to fool you. LOL

Away to PLKN (Day 4): Lomo #1

Yay, I don’t know should I yay or not. I am now at the National Service Camp in Balik Pulau, somewhere at the back of Penang Island, approximately 40km away from my home. Hope I am having fun at there and don’t forget my blog here!

I have taken 3 roll of films last year and I am only sharing the lomography now because I am in NS! Hehe, the above was taken on a Holga 120 with a Kodak 120mm film. Weird right? Because I forgot to roll over the frame. It overlapped.

NS has got technology-related entertainment!

Away to PLKN (Day 1): I Am At Kem PLKN White Resort, Balik Pulau

Where am I right now? I am not at home, I am not near to Gurney Drive, I am not in town, but I still in Penang Island, but back of the island at Balik Pulau! I am now at Kem PLKN White Resort. The name sounds cool huh? Currently attending a 2 months plus National Service camp at there and will be back on 12 June 2010.

So you might see this blog being half dead, but don’t worry, I will be back very soon, I know it, it just 2 and a half month only. No big deal! ^^ So, don’t run away my friend. Wish me have fun at there. Haha.

Went to Visit a Themed House Which Is Still Under Renovation
The house will be like a themed house. I was free yesterday so I went to check out a very cool house which is still under renovation, will be done when I come back from NS. Woo!
- There’s many flat screen panel, for entertainment and for display purpose.
- There’s high tech toilet bowl with heater although here is a tropical country.
- There’s a aeroplane head in the house.
- There’s a 4 wall-mirrored toilet.
- There’s a dining table with grilling service.
- There’s pool table, game area and driving games.
- There’s movie zone.
- There’s nice indoor jacuzzi.
- And more!

S.O.X. All-Star Drum and Dance Is Here!

Last year, the S.O.X. March and Cheer event had been a very successful one. This year, it’s something sparkling new, different and fill with a lot of excitement and fun and it’s the S.O.X. All-Stars Drum & Dance 2010. Oh yeah, it’s drum and dance competition.

So basically, this is something for the youth in Malaysia, all the youngster like me, who like drumming and dancing. If you do drumming or dancing, then this is for you.
