The Rubber Game
We don’t call it the eraser, instead we call it THE RUBBER GAME.
You see a bunch of people there? They are playing the game. Sorry for the blurish photo.I don’t know who invented this game. What I know is these fellows, starts playing the game last year. You know sometimes in class very boring one when there is no teacher or free period, we are not allow to bring electronic device nor CHESS. You heard me, chess also not allow to bring. So instead this little eraser brick to bring entertainment to us.
How to play?
Flip the eraser on top of another and you win. Play as many round as you can and see the total scores. There are skills like back shot, long shot, double kill, triple kill. My friend recently added new gaming leisure to it with Law Of Ueki version of THE RUBBER GAME. I will ask him more about the version of this game.Note : 1 “rubber” (eraser) is RM0.50 only at our school bookstore.

Camera Got Confiscated
Today is last day of school for the first semester. Yay, and tomorrow is the starts of my 2 weeks school holiday. 🙂 Happy of course, very happy. I finally can relax a little bit after 1 weeks of exam and extreme study till late night. I had Chinese Essay and Civic Education today.
I feel that there was like 2 hour free time in school, so I decided to take my camera go snap snap live action in class. God damn it, when I was shooting a short video on my friends playing “THE RUBBER GAME”, the prefect saw me. He took my camera and ask me to go to find the discipline teacher with him. So I went.
The teacher was friendly to me:), she is also the teacher that caught me “cheating” that day. She said not much thing, just tell me that I am not allow to bring camera to school, she “kept” for me and ask me to call my parent to come and get it back. I straight go to the pay phone to call my mom, she say why I so troublesome. Haha, now I know if camera get confiscated, just call up parent to come and get it back, the discipline teacher is like a Safe Box.
I think something wrong with the camera already, maybe it’s too old or I didn’t focus, the photos turn up to be blurish. I didn’t bring my Kodak camera, cause too big, can’t even fit in my pocket, so I brought my OLD Konica 2.0megapixel camera.

Gurney Drive
Long time didn’t post photo already. Here got one very familiar scene, as this is always from either my house’s balcony or my room’s window. I always take the same photo, haha. I like the sky colour but the lighting area were not sharp and a bit noise.
Gurney Drive is a must go place when you come to Penang. Shopping mall and food are famous here. You can go for a jog along Gurney Drive pedestrian walk way in the morning at the same enjoying the cool sea breeze. Then get yourself some nice Bak Kut Teh and Dim Sum at many of the restaurant down Gurney Drive. At night, you can go clubbing at Gurney Hotel there or enjoy some coffee while surfing the net at Coffee Bean or Starbucks Coffee which can be found at Gurney Hotel and Gurney Place (Gurney Plaza).

Technorati just changed their website design and it looks more cool right now and more easy for searching blogs. The first page when you go in you will see some featured top blog, videos and music. Besides it will be all the Technorati Tags that is people often search.

At night, I asked daddy to bring us to Weld Quay to see how they(Hokkiens) Pai Ti Kong, pray sky God.
There were so much food to serve to the God on a very very very long table.
One roasted pig is very very expensive. If rich man, they buy a whole pig, if so so one, they share among others.
Miku Bun, very nice. Taste good with peanut butter.
Government say no fireworks/crackers during Chinese New Year, but on this night, you can see fireworks and crackers sound everywhere in Penang. ^.^

Hokkien New Year Eve
I myself not HokkienESE. I am a Cantonese, since I’m born in Penang, I became a Penangite, Penangite must know Hokkien because it’s widely spoken here, if not very sia sui, can go to Penang Bridge jump down. HAHA. On that day morning I went to Collect Can Food which is for donating to the old folks home in conjunction with Chinese New Year celebration.
Then later that lunch time, I went to Little Penang Street Market at Upper Penang Rd. with 2 of my best friend and also frequent Penang Hokkien listener.
Ah Long, one of the listener of Penang Hokkien I met. (:We go there is to meet Penang Hokkien founder/host of the show, John Ong. He was doing a live recording show there and that’s because of that day is Hokkien New Year Eve.
John, Johny Chee(Author of A Tapestry of Baba Poetry), Tan Choon Hoe(Author of Learn How To Speak Penang Hokkien Dialect)Met some other listeners of Penang Hokkien. John’s mommy(Ong Boh Neoh Neoh), daddy(Ong Teh Pa Pa) were so kind to drop me off home. Thank you!
