I heard about Glee last time but I didn’t bother to check it out until my friend, Cheong Kin asked me to watch it. Since there’s not many TV series is on right now, I went to check out Glee on PPS.tv and guess what, it’s freaking awesome! Spent 3 days catching up all the episodes and I am now finished with season 1. Can’t wait for season 2, love the music a lot and makes me wanna sing more!

I get to know about this song “Bole Chudiyan” from the Indian friends in national service that I went 3 months ago. They Indian people in the camp always perform with this music. This song is a song from the Bollywood film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. =D No idea what’s the movie is but have to say I love this song. I want to learn the dance too! Hahaha, who can teach me?

Finally the FIFA World Cup has started. I am so excited about all matches. South Korea very powerful last night, WOW. Although England was draw with USA, but still all my heart still supporting England all the way till the end! Yeah man. I just come back from a trip recently, so had miss some matches live on TV, I only check the result standing and news in the morning. Now I am back, I get to catch it live on TV already, somemore in high definition. Damn fun man!

I woke up pretty early today, not very early, at 9am exactly, washed up, then lay my lazy ass on the comfy couch and turned the satellite TV to the channel broadcasting 82nd Annual Academy Awards, a.k.a. Oscars. This is my first time watching a LIVE telecast of Oscars and I am a fan of movie and film. I didn’t watch all the 10 nominated Best Motion Pictures, but have watched Avatar, District 9, The Hurt Locker, Inglourious Basterds, Up and Up In The Air.
The event was so grand and I imagine myself, one day being at the event, as an invited guest or perhaps a behind-the-scene filmmaker? I’m dreaming definitely. Haha.

Well, the result is out. The Hurt Locker by top director, James Cameron’s ex wife Kathryn Bigelow had it big, won the Best Motion Pictures. IMO, I don’t like it, perhaps Oscars winning pictures are always like that? The film does has its special and arts, the blast and booms were nice, the story is special, the acting, but just it’s not an enjoyable one. Maybe because it’s about the US Army, it’s talking about patriotism? I don’t know.

Everyone was talking about Avatar, I don’t find it very interesting though, but I find it very AMAZING, it amazed me with the 3D, the music, the way of making and the animation. It does feel hollywood to me.

I like Inglourious Basterds, nice film, nice acting, hilarious and historical with lame fictional fact. This is also the film that made me know that who is Quentin Tarantino.

Up in the Air was boring to me, maybe I don’t know the way of enjoying it, but it’s nice being nominated.

District 9 was un-hollywood too. A documentary style film, could be a new style of making film and I find no reason disliking it.

Up, the animation was an art. I do feel the art, and the story was inspiring. I understand why it did not get the best film. =D
I didn’t watch the rest like An Education, A Serious Man, Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire, and The Blind Side. Gonna check it out soon when HD releases.
Another thing I would like to say, the most enjoyable film but was not nominated in 2009 is Star Trek.^^

Wow, I am back. When I am not studying right now, I am so so busy with the Chinese New Year celebration and preparation. Finally, at this moment, I get some time off to login to my blog and write something up. Today is the first day of the Dewan Rakyat or Malaysia Parliament debate in Parliament. After the General Election in March, I am getting more interested in political issues because I want the best Malaysia but of course I won’t join any party party in the future. =D Just to improve my general knowledge knowing this stuff. School don’t allow teacher to discuss politics so many people don’t know about it. We knew those stuff from the paper and Internet.
Still remember the ex CM of Penang says that Don’t Trust Blogger, but now everyone is blogging. Jeff Ooi, first blogger to be in the parliament, from a normal blogger to a real politician, salute.
Cut the crap. Since today is the first parliament debate of the new parliament formed, new Information Minister said that there will be 30 minutes of Live Telebroadcast from the Parliament in the morning. I am quite interest in watching it as you can see the opposition shouting and pointing at the Barisan National and vice versa. You shoot me, I shoot back you. Since I was in school, I got no chance in watching it, though I had found a short clip on the net, so I’ll share with you.
“Very disappointing,” Information Minister Ahmad Shabery Cheek said when asked about the conduct in the House on the first day of the proceedings of the 12th session.
“We will reconsider whether the ‘live’ telecast should be continued because, right on the first day, it was grossly abused by the MPs,” he said.
Now the Info Minister said that he will review this live broadcast again. Boo. Want to watch the next live parliament, but don’t know got the chance or not.
