Some random sharing to spice up my blog a bit after a long pause. I went to The Gardens, Mid Valley during Merdeka holiday. KTV, shopping and walkaround. =D
Do you like The Gardens?

3 days 2 nights had finally came to an end. I didn’t overnight at there because I wanted to go home to study Chinese for my SPM 2009 examination and for that two night of studies, I got C for Chinese. Sucks man. But I don’t care already, life move on.
So it’s last day and I again, woke up early in the morning and drove to the camp site at Kheng Tian Primary School. Kids were happy to see me, they really like to bully me because I looked very easy to be bullied. OMG. They were having mini activities and making little art work. I saw a lot of helpers were asleep or stim stim or blur blur or like not yet wake up, guess they were not sleeping the night before.
They made a calendar with their group photo printed on it and do some simple artwork. That’s the last activity of the camp. Then it’s closing ceremony and finally it ended. Feel sad because so fast ended and feel sad because the next day is Chinese exam already. Haha.

This kid was naughty, always bully me. Haha
Very nice that my team did win something. We got 3rd for the dance on the performance night. Woo, seems like what I choreographed was not bad. LOL. It’s lame, but I feel satisfaction.
Bid good bye, autograph session, photograph session then bye bye and went home to read Chinese. So fast 3 days had passed.

Big group photos, OMG, I was not in red.
This year don’t know still have chance to join or not, hopefully have! I will be back.

EPL has finished, UEFA also just finished and next would be the FIFA World Cup! Oh yeah. I bet everyone is getting excited about it and I like it because everywhere is going to be happening especially at night at the mamak stalls and McDonald’s or kopitiam with TV. Everyone will be sitting down and watch the World Cup together.

At 10pm of the Foyi’s Children Camp, second day, after the night performance, everyone felt relieved and happy. Me too because finally my team’s performance was over. Parents went home and it’s us and the cute kids again. So it’s photo session of the that time. I went around with my camera and take photos with everyone.
We were tired and very happy that time already. Everyone was so high.

Bear? Pei Cing, Tee Huang, Kelvin and Me.

Everyone. Woei Ning, Corrinne and Me.

My team, team number 7. Rocks!
I wish blog can tag people like Facebook. Haha

This is what they called it G someone. G is press in Hokkien. They were G-ing Yong Seng’s head.

Lion Ong Lai came to support too! Very good.

Leo Club PCGHS President Pei Cing and Pei Chia I don’t know what post. Haha.

Drinking Milo with the kids. Yeah!

Here comes the performance night during the 2009 Foyi Children Camp. I was very tired, nervous and excited because I was in charge in leading the dance for my team. I choreographed quite a few part of the whole dance, also need to thank Jin Sheng, Crystal and Kitsuki Yeoh for the help.
The theme that my team chose was to promote a thing called towel. Haha.
Night falls, all the children campers were required to gather at the main hall and parents of the children flocks in.
We have our lovely Kok as one of the judge for the night. He is big. Everyone was so excited for it and very ready. Me too, nervous.
Then start.

Here’s my team. =D Actually they didn’t really know how it goes, so I was at the first to lead them with my voice. Luckily the music was louder than my voice.

Two young MCs.

Got fashion show also, handsome and pretty kids.
We as teacher/caretaker/helper actually needed to go to the stage to talk about the dress and I was the one. =D So what we had there was a simple blazer which gives a feel of lux, simple and coolness as for the dress, there’s flowerish feel which relates to our Penang’s beautiful beach, simple yet promoting tourism. LOL.
There’s violin performance too. Cool.
What they had on the stage was self-made artwork with newspaper. It’s from different group at there. I didn’t help out on this because I was not there when they made it.
Kids are cute!

This is a very late post, I didn’t think of posting it up but since I am in NS right now, I’ll share something up on my blog. On last December, 2009, I attended 3D2N children camp organized by Foyi, a Buddhist society. The camp is also Buddhism-related. Foyi collaborated with Leo Club of Chung Ling High School to make this camp and it’s already 11th camp already.
I was there too in 2008.
Actually I didn’t sign up as helper or in their committee. I went there voluntary, it happened on the weekend before last SPM paper, Chinese. I was playful and didn’t want to spent so much time reading and by that time, I already didn’t have much feel for reading already, so I went to check out their camp, volunteer help for them. Haha. Is that the reason of me getting C for Chinese? I don’t think so. LOL
Since I didn’t tell them I would be there, they didn’t expect me to come and help, and so there’s no name tag and cert for me. But that’s OK, I made myself a tag at there with marker pen and I gave myself a post as 校长, Principal. LOL. It’s just for fun but I was in one of the group too, as helper, caretaker, teacher, taking care of the kids. The year before, I was MC, so I didn’t join in much fun with the group, but I decided to have a change this year. They did ask me to be MC again, but I rejected, because I’ve no feel for it and I couldn’t be there all the time.
I went there morning and went home at night. I didn’t overnight at there. There’s only 2 Form 5 people, me and Min Xiang, others were just preparing for SPM Chinese paper I guess. They had a lot of fun games, learning, performances, talks and many many thing.
First day, I didn’t stay long. I only really start helping out on the second day, helping Crystal, Jin Sheng and Kitsuki Yeoh, my team’s other helpers. =D

When I arrived on the second days, they had already started playing games. Games was a little bit same as the year before, but there’s something different too. Most interesting was still splashing water to each other. I have no idea why children/youth camp love water so much.

Wash plate with Kelvin.

Jason, Crystal and Me. OMG, miss Jason.

Corrinne, me and Woei Ning. I don’t know name of boy boy. Oops.
What they did on the second day is playing games and preparing for night’s performance. There’s a performance show at night and parents of kids were invited to come see. We had to prepare either a dance or a sketch to promote so
mething, an item, then will let people to guess what we were promoting. It’s like making an advertisement.
As for my group, we did a dance to promote towel and I choreographed part of the dance. Since then, I only knew that dancing and choreographing is so hard.
Another show for the night was fashion show which was about making something cool out of newspaper. Some of the helpers had already prepared water color and blings blings for it. I only knew about it that afternoon, if I had knew it earlier, I would brought more thing for my team. =D

Handsome kid, look like Korean.
Everyone was busy that afternoon. I was choreographing the dance in a short time. Fun and tired! One things, all meals for the 3 days were vegetarian! Not bad also I would say. ^^

Pei Chia concentrating seriously.

Preparing the stage for night performance.
Stay tune, next would be the night performance.

Few months ago, I went to Sungai Petani to have my dinner with my relatives and cousins who are residing at there. They said it was to celebrate getting the SPM result, so we went there to eat. It had been quite some time we didn’t go to Sungai Petani already. Sungai Petani is about 30-45 minutes drive from Penang up north.
Uncle brought us to a Chinese-Thai restaurant called Mae Salong. It sounded Malay to me at first, but it’s actually operated by Thai.
The place is pretty cool, with fountain, ponds, fishes and a lot of woodware. Something special and still cannot be found in Penang yet.

Cousin-in-law, Lily.
The main point of the post is to share the photos of a baby, he is my cousin’s cousin. Haha, pretty far away from my relationship. Very cute and he likes camera flashes on him. =D
