A Walk At Chow Kit Area

A Walk At Chow Kit Area – Under the scorching Sunny heat, with dusty breeze from the road blew occasionally, the sound of motor engine can be heard passing by, I was walking at Chow Kit area. Took the LRT from Kelana Jaya to KL Sentral, interchanged to monorail to Chow Kit then I alighted. I should have taken the LRT and interchanged to PWTC instead. The monorail is slow and expensive!
Clean and green sidewalk. I like.
I was in town in the morning yesterday, to check out a place that I found in Chow Kit which to be designed for my final design project. Site analysis is a part of every of my project and so, a visit to the place is a must to study, to see, and to photograph.
This indirectly gave me an opportunity to explore another side of Kuala Lumpur – Chow Kit, a place that known much as the red light district, black and dirty zone. Indeed, but Jalan Ipoh on the other hand is clean and green, surprisingly. Some places is clean, some places is dirty. That’s the problem of KL, not every corner are well maintain which is kinda sad.

The place have potential to be revitalized into a new district because the architecture at there is very retro and have feeling. If it’s not the assignment, I would not have come here already. You know right, you have to be careful when walking around KL city.
  • Sunday Night At Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpu

Sunday Night At Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpu

Sunday Night At Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur – Sunday night was blue because it’s work the next day. Spending time at home is just bored on a Sunday night and some times can be moody. Petaling Jaya has no hangout spot, I am not saying shopping mall because it’s pretty much a confined space with shops. I prefer street, strolling in the city, walking, seeing life & tourists. How I wish my work, my school and my house are all in the city, so I can do street photography and explore city’s corner easily.
So, I decided to go to downtown Kuala Lumpur yesterday night with a couple of friends – Beng Tian and Hock Sheng, both high school mate from Penang. My craving for photography is back recently, Petaling Street is a good place for photography with much culture, people and tourist, and there’s also has a nice Claypot Lou Shu Fen which we went for dinner.
I haven’t really been to Petaling Street at night, thinking that it’s pretty quiet on a Sunday night, turned out I was wrong. The place was happenings, filled with tourists mostly, and foreign Bangla Myammar Indian worker selling imitation products. Surprised to find that there’s actually quite a few nice food stalls at there too which booked my next visit to taste them out.

    The quiet metro station.
A dinner and some stroll in the city really filled and cheered up my blue Sunday night. I love city, how about you?

  • Sunday, Hock Sheng, Crowded H&M, Sunset From LRT

Sunday, Hock Sheng, Crowded H&M, Sunset From LRT

    Always crowded Pavilion Shopping Mall.

Sunday, Hock Sheng, Crowded H&M, Sunset From LRT – Very random last Sunday with eating pork noodle, doing some gym, head to town with Hock Sheng – high school friend, and took the LRT back. I have been isolating myself for a couple of weeks and it’s time to release myself from my tiny full-of-entertainment relaxing rented room to head to town, breath some fresh air, window shop the shopping mall and eat.

I am weird, I like to stay in the room, and yet I like to go out. Can you explain what do I really like actually? At some point of time, I enjoy staying at home, enjoying the TV, blog, music and Internet, then I am also an outgoing one, check out new stuff, new place, and buy thing. @@

    The queue!
    Very cool interiors.
I want more, please! I shall go to the Europe, the Sweden as I heard it’s even cheaper there, true?

Actually, the main reason I went to town was to check out the newly opened H&M at LOT 10, Bukit Bintang, took the LRT there and not-surprisingly, there’s a queue line outside and luckily it’s not hot and got in in about less than 10 minutes. 3 floors, ground and first floor are ladies’ and the 2nd floor is the man’s.

Amazed, happy, shocked with the low price and choices, I bought a couple of shirts. The price is good! Shirt starts from RM39.90, what do you think? Best of all there’s XS size for little body size like me, but then not much XS/S available. It’s very crowded and happenings, people queuing for fitting room and cashier. I suggest you to go on the weekday or wait for the new one at Setia City Mall @ Setia Alam, Shah Alam.

Hock Sheng who used to sit next to me during high school. Just came to KL recently for study.
BMW 650i Coupe – Just got to say, beautiful and I want. So sexy!
Almost sunset from Pavilion bridge to KLCC.
Sunset from Taman Bahagia LRT station. Good bye.
Went to Pavilion for a break at Snowflakes, chit chat with Hock Sheng, talk about some random stuff and his life in KL. Window shopped a bit and then, home we go and I manage to catch the sunset from the LRT station before headed to the carpark. Sunday, that’s it, fun.
