Shopback – I Made Almost RM2000 From Shopping

If you are not using Shopback, you have to get on board right now, because it’s very legit that I’ve earned almost RM2000 of cashback just from shopping online! Disclaimer: This is not sponsored by Shopback. I just find that many of my friends are still not on this cashback program yet and I have the obligation to share with all about this.

Somemore, during this tough period of Covid-19 and economic downturn, we can make as much side income as possible while maintaining life as usual. I love to shop online, especially on Lazada and Shopee to buy small little stuff now and then to fuel my life; yes, I am kind of a material person (I do control my spending though, sometimes). Shopback does a great job crediting small amount of cashback everytime. Best when they have Super Shopback! I’ve get the most cashback from hotel booking, unfortunately this is not the period for travelling!

Friend has been asking if this is a real thing, and I have to share that it’s very legit, just that it takes a while for the cashback amount to show up in your account and take a little extra hassle when doing shopping. You will need to open Shopback app first before going to your favourite shopping app, so two steps here.

They used to credit the cashback quite quickly but it’d become a longer period now, like 3-4 months. After all, this is free money from your shopping so the surprise feeling when seeing it’s credited after a few months is amazing!

RinggitOhRinggit has good tips on Shopback that you can check it out too! Even if it’s a small cashback, slowly it will accumulate to a huge amount, as the Malay saying – sedikit-sedikit, lama menjadi bukit.

Share this tips to your friends and family now! You can sign up Shopback via my link and get free RM5 in the account.

A Visit To Apple Store, Singapore

Finally, Apple has open its first store in this South East Asia region, in Singapore. Being an Apple fan, it’s a must to visit the store and feel the beauty of the interior setting and architecture. Although they look the same throughout some other major store around the world, I could assure that the vibes and atmosphere will never bored you up.

My recent trip to Singapore, the main purpose was of course to check out this new Apple Store that was just had its grand opening not long ago, at the same time to make a purchase of the new iPad Pro 10.5! Yes, it’s slightly cheaper after TRS (Tourist Refund Scheme) by about RM200. So, why not?

But of course, if you are not buying any thing, still it’s a must to check out this beautifully crafted retail store that house a public space for you to chill and feel Apple, yes I mean feel, not experience.

  • Citymapper App Helps You To Travel Around London Easily

Citymapper App Helps You To Travel Around London Easily

Citymapper App Helps You To Travel Around London EasilyLondon is a huge metropolitan city and with around 11 underground lines and hundreds over of bus route, travelling around is not an easy task. I have a friend who has been residing in London for over 2 years still couldn’t not master travelling on complicated transportation system and in the city, he still need to relies on the Legible London wayfinding system and Google Maps.

I have been visiting London very frequently and travelling around without a local Londoner guiding is quite difficult. The Legible London, a wayfinding board that erects at almost every street corner gives you quite a lot of information of where you are and what’s around. So how do I travel around London like a pro? I use an app to guide me around and that’s Citymapper.

Citymapper can shows you the best way, configures the fastest route and lists the costs of different travelling mode when you want to travel to your destination. So it helps you to save costs, and time. It just made travelling in London so much easier. Yeah. At the moment, the app serves New York, Paris & Berlin. I don’t think it will reach Malaysia in any near future as the public transportation system in Malaysia is lacking very far behind.

You can download from Apple AppStore or Google PlayStore for free. Have fun!

  • Play The Flappy Bird

    Play The Flappy Bird

Play The Flappy Bird – I was late to Flappy Bird, only started playing it like 3 days ago and I still consider myself lucky to have the game in all my devices! I don’t really want to discuss on why the developer Dong Nguyen had decided on removing the game from AppStore and PlayStore, I just want to tell you that I am suck at flying my bird through the Mario-style pipe, but I am enjoying the game from time to time and also feel tulan when hitting the pipe (My current point is 15, you can call me noob and I don’t mind. LOL.).

So, the game is now off the shelves, but I have found the web version that you can play it on your web browser. Yay? Although not as smooth as on the mobile, but if you are just getting to know about Flappy Bird, click this link  (flappybird.io) now to play!

    Finally, I Am Fiber-ed

Finally, I Am Fiber-ed  – Or should I say, I am Unifi-ed. Fiber-ed sounds funny, as if eating fibre for nutrition, ease constipation, smooth outcome. Few weeks back, I couldn’t stand the slow internet speed anymore of 1MBps sharing with one housemate and I took the step of asking an upgrade from my house owner. Well, he agreed for upgrade for a little increment in house rent, whatever, fast Internet is very important and now I am Fiber-ed with a fast connection from Unifi. I wanted Maxis Home Fiber, but the owner want to take advantage of the free call by Unifi, so that’s why. Anyway, it’s a good weekend with awesome Internet speed and time to blog more! Cheer.
Yeah, people have been using it for 3 years back and I have just started, I don’t care what you say, I am happy.

    3DsMax Is So Complicated

3DsMax Is So Complicated – Learning a CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for interior design now and I feel it’s so complicated and troublesome. I have heard many people told me that pro uses 3Ds Max for interior design, is it true? I want to be pro also, but the software is really hard to understand and draw. I prefer Google Sketchup + Vray, what do you think? =)

Singapore: New iPad, A&C, Marutama Ra-Men – Hello friends, I am back again! Went for a break lately as I was busy settling stuff to go back to Kuala Lumpur and I went to Singapore last weekend! I went there to collect my new Apple iPad, and also to visit my brother, walk walk & eat eat.

Now I go to Singapore almost every year, or once a few months, I don’t really know what’s nice to do at there. Mostly, just walkaround the same spot e.g. Orchard Road, Vivo City, and eat.

Singapore: New iPad, A&C, Marutama Ra-Men

I took the bus Aeroline from Sunway and I arrived in Singapore in the afternoon. Headed to my brother place right away in NUS and then I started molesting the new iPad. It, just feel so right and good, and sexy, but not really lighter than the old iPad a lot. Didn’t really get to play much about it as it was getting late.

There was a Dance Central Kinect competition going.

We went to Orchard Road for a while to check out some sleeve for the iPad. Brother brought me to Abercrombie & Fitch shop at Orchard Road, it’s so damn cool in it, the interior is very dark, products are shine by spotlight and music is as loud as in the club, you get a free Instax photo with the man model at there too.

    Marutama Ra-Men, Clarke Quay

Then we headed to Clarke Quay for dinner at a ramen restaurant – Marutama Ra-Men. It’s located in Central Shopping Mall. Brother told me they serve awesome authentic ramen.

Singapore: New iPad, A&C, Marutama Ra-Men

Kakuni ($6) – Pork belly, it’s just so fattening, yet so delicious. You just can’t go without the juicy and succulent fat part.

Singapore: New iPad, A&C, Marutama Ra-Men
Namuru ($4) – Pickles radish as appertizer, very sour.

Singapore: New iPad, A&C, Marutama Ra-Men
In-house special – Marutama Ra-men ($12) with extra Ajitsuke Tamago ($1). The soup tasted very sweet and the ra-men noodle is very springy which I like. You can find char siu and plenty of seaweed in it. Best part is the additional Ajitsuke Tamago which is half boiled seasoned egg, the yolk is just half boiled and the white is a full boiled. Yums.
