    Life After Study

Life After Study – It’d been a while since I’ve been writing on this blog filled with wonderful memories of mine and how are you people who are still frequent this website, or actually there’s no one here anymore? I do see some occasional visitor now and then on my statistic; if you are looking for new content, I am sorry, but thank you for stopping by. Yes, you and you and you who told me that you came to my blog and found nothing updated recently. That brings me here to write something up.

Life is, busy, filled, and pretty much occupied all the time ever since I’ve completed my honours degree 15 months ago and started indulging into the working life. Stress is inevitable, but I am kind of into the busy working life, I do not hate it. I find that life changes tremendously after getting into college, especially putting myself into full-time working mode after graduation. Like, I do not felt like socialising as much as before, and spending more time on the Internet chilling around. I tend to spend more time with people and friends who are closer to me, it’s just different now.

Work and personal improvement is so much of my priority right now and acquiring knowledge and brain storming ideas are part of my past times. Blogging like before is so much not of my thing right now, but I am not giving up by paying my domain and server every year! But of course, I don’t think many people will want to read blogs with personal ramblings like this because selfie of beautiful ‘influencer’ ‘sharing’ products-sponsors-review-event are the thing right now. Haha, no offence and I do follow many of you.

Well, not gonna be long-winded here. It’s just a sudden random kicks to write something up and bye. Happy Chinese New Year. Yeah. Yo.

Internship Experience: Last 2 Days & End

Internship Experience: Last 2 Days & End – Finally, ten weeks of internship at the interior design studio in Kelana Jaya has finally comes to an end. It started with a bit of hard time on me because I was so not familiar with real world interior design practice, later it gets comfortable with the colleague and work. After all, I did enjoy my time at there, met peoples, learned stuff.
Last two days was pretty comfortable and exciting because it’s coming to an end, and a bit of not-willingness as to say bye bye to the new friend I’ve met. Nevertheless, it was fun one, with good food, good laughter, nice work, and nice site visit to a huge house with awesome scenery.
    =)
Thank you for the guidance, allowance and knowledge and we will meet again in faith, my fellow colleagues. Let’s get back to school now.
    See ya, and bye bye.
  • Internship Experience: I Feel Workday Blues

Internship Experience: I Feel Workday Blues

Internship Experience: I Feel Workday Blues – One week of internship at the interior design studio has passed, so how was it? It’s not as fun as I’ve expected. It’s more workload than I’ve expected and the office environment is not what I imagined. Haha?
No, not from the view of my office, how I wish it is. – Kuala Lumpur.
‘Come on, it’s just an internship training’, I told myself. I am now experiencing the job of a full-time designer at the company, guess that’s the point of practical training is, right? Haha. Now only I realised that it’s not easy to work in this industry, there’s no fix 9-5 working hours, it’s always O.T. most of the time, like today, I just got home like an hour ago only. Deadlines, and hardworking colleagues, that makes up the over time.
Colleagues and bosses are friendly at the studio, but there’s not much of spoon-feeding already, like teaching me what’s what, maybe it should be so, and they became a living dictionary that I can just ask anything I want to learn. Working in a designing firm is not what I thought as it is, I thought of working in team, I thought of less detailed drawing, more on 3D and conceptual design, turned out it’s detailed drawings all the time with minimal of 3D drawing. But hey, at least I know these detailed drawings can cost over tenth of thousands!
    The workplace environment.
It’s kind of a mix or neutral feeling at work now, not overly enjoy, nor dislike it, I’ll take it as a place to train myself, learn and gain the knowledge and experience. 2 months only, let’s do it and enjoy it. But somehow, I still feel workday blues. Maybe I should find a fun point at work, which is…?
Anyway, good night and happy working to you. Things to do tomorrow: Find a fun point.
