My school Leo Club and Leo Club of Penang City recently launched a project at Tesco – Charity Christmas Bazaar. I went to help out yesterday for the first time. Previously, I wasn’t free to go help out at the stall there and my brother was lazy to drive me up to Tesco.
He always use the reason “Tesco? So far…” for not driving me up there. Seriously, Penang is a small island, it’s consider near already compare to other big city like Singapore, Kuala Lumpur. It’s approximately 20 minutes drive from my place to Tesco.
Anyway, he was really kind yesterday for taking me there. Since I feels like going out and not staying at home, so I decided to go to help out there.
We got a little stall in front of the food court at the 3rd floor of Tesco buildiing. We set up 2 tables for placing the cute cute stuff that we sell.
Basically, stuff we sell are little cute gift thingy. Like dolls, cute paper clips, bookmarks, photo frame, mugs, pens, pencil and more. FYI, according to one of my senior, he said that all the stuff are all handmade and cheap too!
What I did there was actually, “Hello auntie/uncle, Merry Christmas. Want buy some gift?“, be cashier, take photograph of the stuff there, talk and sell. Kinda fun. It’s something like what I did at my Young Enterprise Sales Fair. But most of the time was just joking around. Haha.
Daniel and Kenneth was hardworking enought to promote the stuff, not like me playing around. LOL
Tee Jin came early and went to lunch with me and Jerry came late that afternoon. Though almost everyone came.
And KOKahKOK was there too. Not wearing the paper-made hat though.
Tomorrow and Sunday will be last 2 days for us. Come visit us at Tesco third floor in front of the food court there! Cheap cheap only, support support.
