    Life After Study

Life After Study – It’d been a while since I’ve been writing on this blog filled with wonderful memories of mine and how are you people who are still frequent this website, or actually there’s no one here anymore? I do see some occasional visitor now and then on my statistic; if you are looking for new content, I am sorry, but thank you for stopping by. Yes, you and you and you who told me that you came to my blog and found nothing updated recently. That brings me here to write something up.

Life is, busy, filled, and pretty much occupied all the time ever since I’ve completed my honours degree 15 months ago and started indulging into the working life. Stress is inevitable, but I am kind of into the busy working life, I do not hate it. I find that life changes tremendously after getting into college, especially putting myself into full-time working mode after graduation. Like, I do not felt like socialising as much as before, and spending more time on the Internet chilling around. I tend to spend more time with people and friends who are closer to me, it’s just different now.

Work and personal improvement is so much of my priority right now and acquiring knowledge and brain storming ideas are part of my past times. Blogging like before is so much not of my thing right now, but I am not giving up by paying my domain and server every year! But of course, I don’t think many people will want to read blogs with personal ramblings like this because selfie of beautiful ‘influencer’ ‘sharing’ products-sponsors-review-event are the thing right now. Haha, no offence and I do follow many of you.

Well, not gonna be long-winded here. It’s just a sudden random kicks to write something up and bye. Happy Chinese New Year. Yeah. Yo.

  • Feeling Lost, Something New, Just Do It

Feeling Lost, Something New, Just Do It

Feeling Lost, Something New, Just Do It–  Hi all, it’d been a few weeks since I’ve posted something here, and I guess it’d been quite a long time I write something personal, a thought. Recently, as usual I am and will be so much busy with the design assignments that I’ve, only until end of May I will put an end to it and that’s the end of my interior design study. I don’t know, it seems that as time goes by, my interest and passion in working out on the interior design project has diminish. I feel lost, but I still haven’t given up on it yet as I’m still like looking at beautiful spaces on website occasionally and still love planning clean concept space. It’s just, I’m not as passionate as other interior designers out there. Hmmmmm.

Somehow, the other side of me is unleashing a crave to swim in the sea of entrepreneurship, it’s just something that I’ve never thought of and I hope it’s not too late to get a grasp on it. I was inspired by lots of Youtube videos about startup, and entrepreneurship, e.g. how former Alibaba’s CEO Jack Ma started the company, The Startup Kid & lots of TED talk. The videos somehow trigger my mind to lean away from what I’m doing right now which they were quite motivating and inspiring. It seems like I am enjoying this more than that. Well, I would surely wanted to explore this new field someday in the future (soon that I hope, not today, too much of assignments), yet I still don’t want to dump the skill that I’ve gained in the past 3 years in university about designing spaces for people. What can I do?

The thing about me is the lack of perseverance of doing something (which has been in me for some times and I hate it)t, I realised for anything to success, perseverance is more important than anything else, not to mention courage, and determination. I am not trying to ask for any opinion in this rambling post, nor to tell the world about me lacking perseverance, it’s just that at this moment, I felt that I need to write it down, tell myself that I must work hard and determine in doing something right now, ‘I am 22 years old, I want to do it, I have to do it and I must do it.’, it’s not high school nor college anymore! No more slacking and just gonna get shit done and just do it. When I recalls this post in the future, hopefully I will be proud of myself of later because of today. To those who are lack of the determination to do something, I hope that you can start telling yourself, ‘ fck that sh!T, just do it now’. – Good night, it’s warm here in the UK, just 7 degree celcius, welcome to Spring 2014.

Happy Horse-picious Chinese New Year & Gong Hei Fatt Choi

CNY14 // Happy Horse-picious Chinese New Year & Gong Hei Fatt Choi – First time in my life, I don’t get to eat a sumptuous reunion dinner with my family. I am going to miss some of the least seen faces of the distance relatives, the ang baos are either being ignored or being kept in mom’s ‘pocket’ and will miss out tons of gathering, food and a mind out of anything. I am in the UK, an ang mo country, and there’s no such thing as Chinese New Year. I am just so proud of being a Malaysian that I celebrate festivity of multiple ethnicity.

Of course, I do miss home, looking at the CNY ads on Youtube, and listening to the CNY songs will some times roll some tears in my eyes, the tear of missing home. But hey, I chose to come here to study for a year, means I’m prepared to experience the CNY away from home. It’s a tough one and I am grateful that I am here for only a year, so the distance of heading back home is not far away. Nevertheless, CNY is still ON for me, reunion dinner is off but a big feast with Malaysian is on! A visit to London’s Chinese New Year’s festival is also on and of course, the tune of CNY songs will be blasting out my speakers throughout the 15 days of the celebration in my dorm room. Dong dong qiang!
Happy Chinese New Year to all of you. Stay healthy, stay wealthy, and have a horse-picious Chinese New Year!
  • SUPERmoon

    SUPERmoon

SUPERmoon – Did you see the moon last night? The pro call it the supermoon, I’ll just call it big-round moon. Surprised that I can hardly feel the moon is bigger, but then with the presence of haze, the moon last night somehow look beautiful, and rounder. OK, OK, maybe it’s because of the supermoon.

If you have missed it, nevermind, I’ve took photograph of it. Check it out.

  • Photograph The Star

    Photograph The Star

Photograph The Star – I was at the temple at Klian Intan and found out that the place was very dark and has a good view of stars in the sky. So I took my camera, mounted on a tripod and set a long exposure and high aperture, trying to capture the star.

Not much of a success, but it seems to be one cool photography that I would like to try. =D Any tips on shooting stars?

  • Love For Beautiful Notebooks

    Love For Beautiful Notebooks

Love For Beautiful Notebooks – I have some interest that I believe some of you have too and that is – NOTEBOOKS! I like beautiful notebooks and to be honest, I don’t really use them all. Now using a fabric one that I bought in Thailand and recently got 2 free notebooks from The Jekyl & Hyde Project and Lamitak. Although I already have a few empty notebooks, I still want Moleskin. I feel that it’s not really a good interest as collecting empty notebooks is not really useful especially when they are just lying there around unused. Hahaha. Some say a simple one does the job, but for me, aesthetic is very important, it must has style!
How many notebooks are there? Including electronics one? Hehe.
