    Taylor’s University Seaside Campus

Taylor’s University Seaside Campus – As if… my school is located by the sea instead of a man-made lake right now. A good location for this is Penang. Penang has got no nice private university like this. =D

Don’t you think it’s fun? Bikini chicks, hot hot, water sports, resort-style education, extra course like lifeguard course, aqua-bio-stuff-stuff course, underwater course, swimming course, intercourse. LOL. Better place to get inspiration for architecture and design student.

    Copied from Taylor’s Memes Facebook.

  • Petronas KLCC After Dinner

    Petronas KLCC After Dinner

Petronas KLCC After Dinner – I had Korean food last Friday! It was a very-very full Korean dinner for me and I will talk about it in another post. After dinner, I did not want to go home yet, I want to walkaround to digest the food in my little stomach. I was so bloated after dinner and need some exercise.

Since nothing to do, so I went to KLCC (Petronas Twin Towers) for fun with dearest, Hueisean! =) I feel very funny when people were driving out of the carpark at 10.30pm and I was driving in. There’s no other place better than KLCC for a night walk, is there any? =D

KL is not like Hong Kong where you can go to the Victoria Harbour, Sai Yeung Choi St or Causeway Bay for walk, even Singapore has more place to walkaround at night e.g. Marina Bay. KL… Hmmmmmmm.

The Public Bank building looks awesome!
    It’s her!
    Us!
Passed by H&M, Bukit Bintang while going home. People were standing outside taking photos on the day before it opens. Haha.
  • Visit To Setia City Mall

    Visit To Setia City Mall

Visit To Setia City Mall  – It was a random decision on visiting Setia City Mall at Setia Alam, Shah Alam with the dearest, Hueisean! It’s quite a very new mall, located in a very new suburb town of Setia Alam at Shah Alam. Initially, I have no idea where it is, I just though that it’s at Shah Alam.

Set on my favourite GPS – Waze then I followed the navigation. It took me about 30 minutes to reach there. Seems far, indeed. I actually neglected to follow the GPS as I thought I knew the way, ended up it took me longer to reach. DAMN.

Surprised to reach Setia Alam, a very new town in Shah Alam where you can see nothing much at there except trees, newly built residential area, plain ground waiting to be developed and there this Setia City Mall.  I was like – ‘WALAO, THIS PLACE CAN HAS A MALL, GOT PEOPLE WANNA VISIT MEH?’

Parking is quite cheap. RM2/3 hours on the weekend and interesting to see there’s many car here. Once get into the mall, the perception about the area and the mall changed. It’s not very big, but then there’s the crowd and there’s quite many brand!

You can even find Uniqlo and soon-to-open H&M here! H&M just opens at Bukit Bintang Lot 10 by the way. Seems like this is a good place to shop. Not too crowded as Mid Valley, brand choices is OK-good and I bought cloth at there.

Will come back again when I feel really bored, or to getaway from the busy city to relax relax. =D

Hong Kong: Street Photography – Causeway Bay – Picture speaks a thousand words. Throwing up a lot photos taken during my trip to Hong Kong last December at Causeway Bay, the vibrant and happenings shopping district. =) I love Hong Kong, I love big city.

    MTR Central Station.
Look at the number of people on the street. Somewhere around Times Square.
World Trade Centre with shopping mall below.
    Hennessy Road as seen.
Night is prettier than day at here, it’s so bright and ‘sunny’!
    Wayfinding pole.
    Middle of the road.
Simply awesome street food. I like curry fish ball and 牛什.

    Hello Aunty!

Bonjour, a cosmetic chain store in Hong Kong.
  • Hong Kong: Big Buddha, Toufu Fa, Lantau Island

Hong Kong: Big Buddha, Toufu Fa, Lantau Island

Hong Kong: Big Buddha, Toufu Fa, Lantau Island – One of the cool place to visit in Hong Kong is Lantau Island where the Big Buddha statue is. It’s not only just visiting the statue, you can get some nice moment off from the vibrant busy city life of Hong Kong.

You can take the MTR to Tung Chung Station, then do some shopping at Citygate Outlet, then you can pick to use the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car or go up by bus. It was a super long queue at the cable car station and we bought a package of going there by bus and coming back by cable car. It’s cheaper and faster too.

We did some shopping at Citygate, there’s many brands at there, selling at a discounted price. Then we took the bus to go see the Big Buddha statue. It took us about 20 minutes ride to there. It was nice to look at the scenery around.

Big Buddha is situated on top of a hill, it’s huge and very beautiful. One must not miss is the 山水豆腐花 Toufu Fa, the beancurd toufu far is so smooth and mouth-watering. It’s a bit different with ours as it has ginger in it.

After touring around Po Lin Monastery (official name), we went back down through the cable car. Aduhainya, we queued 40 minutes for the cable car!

Fun, but won’t visit the Buddha again, maybe next time can go there for hiking!

  • Visit To Point 92, Damansara Perdana

Visit To Point 92, Damansara Perdana

Visit To Point 92, Damansara Perdana – It was a site visit organized by Project Management lecturer – Ms Annette. Point 92 is a very cool building located at a new suburban township – Damansara Perdana and most of the buildings at there are still under-construction.

This Point 92 has a very cool exterior features, interesting arranged windows and a large void space at the center.

Unfortunately, it was not a nice visit, instead it was just plain chit-chatting, walking around the lobby, and even shouted by some lansi contractor at there ‘tak boleh! tak boleh! tak boleh’. He was shouting to us cause he thought we were going to take photos. At that time, lecturer has not arrived yet and he has no idea why we were there. Afterall, we were actually allowed to snap around. So why there’s nothing much to see?

Cause what’s cool is the exterior, the interior is only the lobby part only. Then that’s all. We were supposed to go to the void space – the balcony to check it out but then person-in-charge was busy, so… it’s bye bye!

By the way, I believe that Damansara Perdana will be very beautiful when all of the buildings are completed. It’s so cool leh! If you’ve got nothing to do, go there and see see then you will know what I mean.

  • Hong Kong: The Awesome Central District 超型中环区

Hong Kong: The Awesome Central District 超型中环区

Hong Kong: The Awesome Central District  超型中环区 – This part of the World City Hong Kong is just so awesome – Central as it has many tall office building. It’s where the main central business district is. That’s not the only reason of its awesome.

The wonderful blend of modern architecture with Western-style building and old-school Hong Kong neighbourhood is just crazily good. More over, you can get eye-gasm at night when it lights up and you walk around the area during winter or a cool day. The feeling was so great.

Uniquely special. It’s totally different feeling when compare to under metropolitan like New York, Shanghai or Singapore.

    Coolest Bank Of China building.
Very special twin building of Lippo.
    HSBC building.
International Financial Centre (IFC). Batman jumped off this building in The Dark Knight. Apple Store is here too!

What do you think about Central? You know, Apple Store is located in Central district.

  • Hong Kong: Apple Store, Central 中环苹果店

Hong Kong: Apple Store, Central 中环苹果店

Hong Kong: Apple Store, Central 中环苹果店 – Let’s fly to Hong Kong today and check out the Apple Store located at Central area of Hong Kong Island. I’ve been to one at Nanjing Lu and another one at Pudong, Shanghai, both of them are very cool.

Actually, most of the Apple Store around the world looks the same, they have the same interior layout, the famous glass spiral stairs, and what’s difference is the language and visitors. It’s Hong Kong and it’s Chinese all around. Same as the two stores in Shanghai, this one in Hong Kong was very crowded too!

I feel that Apple Store is one of the attractions in Hong Kong as there’s not much Apple Store located in Asia.

  • Chan’s Chok Faces

    Chan’s Chok Faces

Chan’s Chok Faces – Chok Face is the term use to describe people’s face expression which is cool, vain, errr, CHOK, that I do not know how to explain about it. My friend CC made an easier explanation and that is – ‘communicating/talking through your nose and eyes’.

Obviously dad has no idea what is CHOK. Haha.

DETA – Dulux Emerging Talent Award @ KBU College

DETA – Dulux Emerging Talent Award 2012 @ KBU College – Only 4 person from my class, another 6 from the degree’s class and 5 of my senior went to the Dulux Emerging Talent Award on last Saturday. It was supposed to be more than that, in fact my lecturer invited everyone to go but all of them were lazy and has no passion of it. I told myself, since it’s my final year in Taylor’s University, so why not? Just go for fun, get some inspiration, experience, foster friendship and play.

Funny that the lecturer actually booked 2 bus but ended only 10 boarded the bus. Haha. So sad for them.

DETA - Dulux Emerging Talent Award @ KBU College

It was a competition for interior design student held at KBU College and 3 winners get to go to Amsterdam and some other part of Europe for free! Cool right? But it’s not for me as I am not that good, yet. HAHA. There’s more than 10 school participated in this little competition and it’s pretty happenings at there.

So basically, the competition was about designing a space concept for different type of space – Restaurant, Office, Gallery. Each of us were divided into 3 different team and each team get their own type of space. I’ve got office design. We were given a paper box and some paint colour as well as some recycling material, then we have to produce a conceptual design through all the material.

Well, I kinda suck at it, blur at first then came up with a childish stuff in the end. Admit that I was blur and stucked. Haha. However, looking at other’s creative work, it gives me an energy to search for creativity and study on creativity. Yeah! My school has a few person got into final, but then didn’t make it for the grand prize.

DETA - Dulux Emerging Talent Award @ KBU College

The college has notice board for Club and Society. It feels so ‘high school’ to me! =D

DETA - Dulux Emerging Talent Award @ KBU College

Anyway, it was a fun day, realised that I am not creative, got free food, know my friend from other class more and I told myself to strive hard to look for creativity.
