Once we had check in our hotel in Guangzhou, which was the Holiday Inn Shifu Hotel, settled down with all the luggage, our first destination out there was to Heng Bao Plaza which is also the nearest Guangzhou Metro station (Chang Shou station) with a 10 minutes walk.
Though we were not taking the train to anywhere, we went there for a afternoon high tea because we were already very hungry. We didn’t really shop around in there, it’s just walking to find a restaurant to eat. We had dim sum that afternoon by the way.
After eating, we just went straight out of the mall because there’s nothing interesting in there. We prefer the street than in the mall.
Talking about the weather, it’s windy and chilly for this first day. I just wore a t shirt and a not-very-thick jacket and if I am not wrong, it’s around 16 degree cel.
Mom did the shopping part and the man, me, brother and dad were like her bodyguard, following her everywhere. In the mean time, I just try to snap as many photo as I could.
I love to see people everywhere, there’s always a lot of people walking on the street. Shops there are not very attractive, nothing attracts me.
Funny to see some writings on some shops which is a way of marketing and getting more customers. The Chinese words say “Moving out tonight, XX % discount”. The funny part was, I saw the same thing on the other day, meaning that they were still not moving out.
Using bicycles rather than motorbike is a good way to promote green environment. Their KFC does it, they use bicycles as a delivery transport and another good thing is, they have KFC delivery but here, we don’t.
From Heng Bao Plaza, to Bao Hua Lu, we were back to Di Shi Fu Lu and walking down will be Shang Xia Jiu Pedestrian Shopping Street. =) They uses Lu instead of Road on their roadnames.
