On one fine Wednesday, during the 2 periods long of Chinese lesson, my Chinese teacher, Miss Tan Lon Eng brought the whole class on a visit to the Chung Ling Archive. A lot of people never been into it before and this would be my second time being inside and with AC on and be in it for a longer time instead just went in for a while for photo taking last time.
This was a Chinese lesson, it not just a visit. Miss Tan explained and talked to us about the history of my Chung Ling High School from the early 10s till now and everything about the fame and story about my school and people.
It’s an interesting lesson and thankfully that I brought my camera with me so I could snap more photos to share with you guys.
Interesting stories about my school were from 1917 till around the 70s, after independence of Malaysia, nothing much interesting stuff happened then.
Somehow, not all students in class were interested in this, I am not one of them. I like history, but must be interesting one.
Geoffrey and Beng Tian.
School uniform during the 50s.
I just roamed around freely with my camera inside. The Chung Ling Archive is just a little room keeping some old books and a little teaching instrument that kept from the olden days. It’s cool to have something like this, according the my teacher, the stuff that were before World War II were all destroyed by the Japanese, sad.
Telescope of the 50s. Now, there’s an observatory tower in my school.
How about night at the archive? Lame.
