After moving out from Maya Bay, the Phi Phi Islands speedboat tour took us to a stop to the little Monkey Bay to see some monkeys. Actually monkeys are not really interesting, in fact I can see a lot of them at Penang’s Botanical Garden but these monkey lives by the beach, so it’s pretty different.
The speedboat took us on a little sightseeing trip before going directly to the Monkey Bay which is also known as Ao Ling. We passed by the bird nest caves and slow down on a shallow clear water area to feed the fishes with bread. The water is so clean and I like it so much.
And here we reached the Monkey Bay, it’s a small bay and there’s a lot of tourist standing there taking photograph and trying to feed the monkey with bananas.
Well, the bananas were free, the tour guide girl gave me 2 bananas to feed the monkey. The monkeys were so excited when seeing us but I kinda afraid of them because they are aggresive and rude, sometimes.
Stayed there for like 10 minutes and off we went to somewhere for snorkelling after then.
It seems like us, the tourist that feeds the monkeys at this Monkey Bay, the monkeys are so lucky to have us bring food to them everyday, that’s comfortable, unlike monkey here in Botanical Garden, which digs food from the dustbin, that’s dirty.
Next stop: Snorkelling activity
