This is pretty old. Due to coming test, I got no time to post it. Anyway gonna share you some photos that I have took during the Fifteenth Night of Chinese New Year which is also the last day of the Chinese New Year celebration. Every year, there will be a little celebration in Penang at Pitt Street there though it wasn’t that much people there I think it’s mainly because it’s on a weekday.
Mom actually don’t wants me to go because it’s still a schooling day and my test was approaching. But after some convincing, I was free to go.
There’s a stage for some performance but I wasn’t close to the stage that time. Spent most of the time around the mandarin orange throwing well with some friends.
My friends were helping the Foyi to sell mandarin oranges to passers-by for raising funds for their own Foyi Dialysis Centre.
I wasn’t there to help though. I am like these pathetic cameraman, gather together just to shoot 1 thing. Haha. I see a lot of college student arming themselves with camera, shooting here and there. Part of their assignment I guess.
Lion’s not dancing. Too bad.
Pro people have their own ladder. I am not so pro yet and even if I’m pro, I wouldn’t want to carry a ladder with me. Siao ah?
Attracted some tourist too. Though, this event was that happenings like the Chinese New Year Open House.
I did throw mandarin orange into the wishing man-made well. Wish for? Everything, etc, girlfriend, friend, good health, wealth for more advertiser from Nuffnang, and studies.
The man-made mandarin orange throwing well was not cool at all. They need something bigger and deeper. Boo boo. I did see some old ladies were serious in throwing mandarin oranges into the well as hoping to look for a good guy.
Funny was, people just throw without aiming it. There’s a orange with a phone number actually hits Kok Sheng (KOKahKOK) on the head. HAHA.
