604 Outing With The Girls
Written by Nicholas Chan on June 23, 2010 – 11:52 pm -4 of June, Wantheng asked me out for a movie, the movie was Nightmare On Elmstreet and it was pretty old movie by then because it’s already started screening in the cinema for like few weeks ago. Since it had been quite a long time didn’t meet her already and I was so free, so went out together to the cinema. There’s Wan Theng, Shan Shan, Jia Ying, Chai Wei, Priscilla and her friend Man Yin, 4 out of 6 were tuition friends, and the other two were friend’s friend.
Movie was at Prangin Mall’s Cathay Cineplex. Still remember last time during high school, I always go there to watch movie after school, or go there to watch above 18 movie because there’s no check. It was last time and now, Cathay Cineplex is like a last resort to me, because I still prefer GSC afterall.

Priscilla.
After that was meal at Shua Shua Le, also a restaurant that I would normally go after school last time. Now seldom go because I seldom or not take the public bus already. Because last time come back from school by public bus, the bus will stop at Prangin Mall, then I have to make an interchange to other bus to go home. So while making the change, will go to the mall to eat and movie first before going home. Pretty fun. High school rocks.

Wan Theng, Chai Wei, Shan Shan, Jia Ying.
Shan Shan said, “Happy 604!”.

Watched Once A Gangster at Gurney Plaza
Written by Nicholas Chan on May 31, 2010 – 12:22 am -Last Monday, Yiphing was back from her NS camp on MC reason, then she didn’t stay at home to rest till she’s fully recover and insisted us to watch movie together so we went to watch Once A Gangster 飞沙风中转 at Gurney Plaza. It was Monday and there’s not many people in the cinema and I like it, no need to queue and nice seats for us. By the way, ignore Arron’s emo face below, he was not really emo. XD
Another good thing about watching movie on weekdays, before 6pm is that, it’s cheap! RM6 for student and RM7 for normal tickets. Yeah, and now I am trying to watch movies on weekdays or movie day (Wednesday) instead of weekends already.
The movie was funny but somehow, some friends didn’t understand it’s a comedy. I knew it was a comedy at first and quite a long time didn’t watch Hong Kong film already, so was kinda looking forward to it and it didn’t disappoint me. =D
After movie, we just walked around and I was seeking for mirror to take photos of ourselves. HAHA. Too bored and had the feeling of taking through mirror.
Then I remembered where I can find mirror in Gurney Plaza already and that’s…
Fitting room of Parkson. The fitting room is huge and can fit many people. I remembered of seeing girls camwhoring inside from Facebook. Haha.
One more, outside Beauty Impact.
Good night! x)

Hari Raya’s holiday is now on
Written by Nicholas Chan on September 22, 2009 – 12:05 am -I knew Raya was coming, I knew last Friday was a very last minute announced special public school holiday, I knew the Muslim friends were and are having fun, I knew this week is a school holiday for me, I knew it will be a traffic jam everywhere in Penang and highway, but I didn’t know about the exact date of the Hari Raya until I see everyone wishing “Happy Hari Raya” on Twitter and Plurk, I suck a bit, but now I know so I wish you all have a nice Hari Raya Aidilfitri. =)
So Raya was Sunday and Monday. The holiday started on Friday and I have been on holiday mood since then after a 9 days long trial exam. I need a break but I don’t know what am I doing, I don’t have a plan for this holiday and it’s so unorganized, it’s like there’s so many thing want to do but I don’t know where to start. That’s bad.
Arron.
The holiday mood started on last Thursday right after school. I didn’t go home right away to sleep or anything but instead went to the cinema to watch Gamer with Arron. The movie was pretty cool, you will like it and understand it if you do or did play game. I did play games last time but not now.
Simon, Arron, Edmond, Fangs.
Andy, Min Sheng.
I then went to karaoke at Red Box on Friday, it’s a usual routine for me and them since last year where we will (mostly) go to karaoke to sing our crazyness out after the exam, before the holiday week. It’s a standard thing for us. It’s kinda tiring singing there, I still hardly improve my singing.
Then I went for movie again and it’s the Singapore’s film, Where Got Ghost. I gave it a rating of 4.5/10 because I don’t think it’s good enough, felt like nothing’s new from Jack Neo.
Saturday was pretty quiet to me. Woke up in a dull, cloudy morning and the Sun was hiding somewhere, which made me felt so lazy to go places. I went to town for lunch with mom and I came home, staying indoor for whole afternoon.
I then spent time at home reorganized my stuff and clear all the papers and notes lying around since before trial exam. I don’t like the room to look like a mess, I like to have a clean and nice workstation. =) Took me few hours for this and hopefully this will be clean for at least a few weeks and then I will need to do it again. It’s true that I like cleaning out my workstation because I enjoy the clean look after that.
Sunday was the first day of Raya and I went to Queensbay Mall in the afternoon to wait for Alvin who lives nearby to come and fetch me to the Penang Hokkien’s mini gathering at Egate. It’s so crowded at Queensbay and interesting to see the Muslim in their nice Malay attire shopping around in the mall.
Nothing much for me to do there except walking around and looking at people. I saw the same spectacles shop name where I bought my specs, A-look and I took my specs for the specs washing service, it’s a free service and it’s a way to pass my time.
Alvin then came and fetch me to 3G Cafe at E-gate to meet up with the famous podcast, Penang Hokkien’s host and listeners. It had been 2 years since I last meet up with John Ong, the host and creator of the show. Will talk about it in another post.

A fun fair near Queensbay Mall.
After being at E-gate for 2 hours, I and Alvin went back to Queensbay Mall again for dinner and to shop for some stuff. Later in the evening, I went to the airport to fetch my brother and that concludes my Sunday.
Monday, today is a day that I spent my time with my brother. It’s still a public holiday for everyone and it’s Gurney Plaza that I went. It’s just window shopping and watched a movie, G-Force in the cinema just now, the movie was cute and that’s what I wanted to say about it.
That’s all for now, Happy Hari Raya Aidilfitri and school holiday, pals. =)

Pink Panther 2 – Pink Panther ONE is more to me a family show.
Night At The Museum 2 – This is also a family movie but it’s more funny in my own opinion.
