Chung Ling Dragon Boat Tragedy Memorial

It has been two week since the Chung Ling Dragon Boat Tragedy passed. My school lost a teacher, and 5 student and I lost a friend. I know that we have to move on from now, although the thing is still in my and our head, still we have to move on, life goes on from now. Anyhow, it’s still a sad thing.

Yesterday, the school had a memorial event in the school hall. I wanted to go, but I was stuck in a traffic jam because of Thaipusam festival. When I arrived in school, the whole school was quiet, and it was almost the end of the memorial.

It was playing a video clips of the lates, and it’s a very emo moment, tears dropped down once again. Still feeling and thinking, WHY?

Some says that they shouldn’t have this memorial event because it was getting forgotten in the mind and almost move on with life, but this thing has caused emotional breakdown once again.

There’s student, families, teachers, alumni, and people from the press.

Everyone in the hall paid a last respect before dismissing. We will always miss you. >.<

Last Day of SPM, Day 9

Last day of SPM was a crazy day. My mind was so relax on the morning, the night before was nervous but as soon as I stepped into school, everything goes off. It’s just last minute, I know means know, I don’t know means don’t know. Everything goes along with the feel of the Chinese paper. To be honest, my Chinese has never been v very good, but I still trying to be my best.

There’s 2 paper for Chinese paper, one is knowledge, reading and comprehension based and another is writing part. I like the writing part, I can just express everything according the feeling, with a little bit of Chinese novel style because I have been reading a lot Taiwanese novel lately.

The paper was really hard (for me), I don’t have confident of getting an A but I really hope if I can get one, it will be like, un-describe-able excited. Don’t wanna talk about the result, we’ll see in March. If it’s good, for sure I’ll tell you guys, if it’s bad, I’ll… see first. =D

I had my special blogger friend to handle my camera on that day and he’s Gen Yong. He came to school to help to rearrange and clean up the mess after the exam because he’s in the school service group. I passed my camera to him and let him shoot around during the exam, it’s better than laying inside my bag pack right?

On the last ten second, the exam classrooms were not quiet, everyone was counting down for the real END of SPM examination. It was memorable and fun. We ended everything in the middle of the day at 12.45pm. Gonna remember the time, it’s a very historical time for me.

A very relaxing ending, I did not rush home. Took the time very slowly and drove to Simon’s place for lunch and we went to karaoke in the afternoon! The usual stuff we always do after exam. I guess I can’t do it next time already, because everyone is going to different colleges and school. So sad, a little bit.

One more thing again, Chinese paper 1 sucks.

SPM Day 8

I have been gone for like a long long time. The days after SPM are busy, tired and very messy. All the things that I have done were so not organized, it’s like happened or being called so suddenly which made me have so little time in front of the computer and with the social media. I need to plan what to do on the coming days, organized it and timetabled it, else I can hardly make things done.

So here I am, back to blogging and in this post, I want to write about the eighth day of my SPM examination.

This day was actually the last day for some of the students who didn’t take Chinese paper. For me, it’s ALMOST the last day, but still I had one more paper to go and that was Chinese paper. Yeah, real Chinese sits for Chinese paper. =D I pretty suck in Chinese writing, but I still like it a lot, it’s fun!

So what we were sitting for on the 8th day was Chemistry paper. For me, I didn’t know all, there’s till few question that I totally don’t know, and so, hopefully the result will be a nice one in March, expected result day is somewhere in March, as usual like past years.

During the lunch break, we went to Air Itam for lunch again. Want to thank Jin Sheng for the ride. =) The feeling during the lunch break was always nervous because the paper 3 in the afternoon is like, I don’t know want how to say, difficult, but not really, easy, but can’t be sure, it’s all depends on how well your writing is, how creative you are. Paper 3 is an experiment planning and report writing paper.

After lunch, we went back to school. I had my camera with me, I brought my camera on every days of the SPM, just want to shoot something to keep it as memory. Nice one, I like it. We had like 30 minutes time before the paper started, I went to shoot around and some of them were still reading for the last minute, I didn’t want to read already, the feel wasn’t there, how well or how much motivation also don’t want to read already.

Took photos of my place and Tee Jin’s place. I place was on the first row, just in front of the whiteboard, so I didn’t get to see any interesting things, except the white clean board.

Day 7 of SPM

Thursday was another of SPM 2009 and it’s day 7. The paper I had was Physics paper 1, 2 and 3. I didn’t drive to school because the car that I usually drove went to the service centre for cosmetic enhancement and car service. So mommy had became my driver once again, thank you.

I arrived pretty early in school today, 45 minutes before paper start. I thought everyone was late today but in fact they went inside the class early to read. The school has stopped putting up little station for temperature check and hand sanitizer, they have now move around with their thermometer to every student one by one. Great.

My comment on Physics paper was I didn’t know how to do 3 question. Feeling bad for it man because I did not study enough. Argh. Hopefully, I still will get 1A for it.

I got only an hour and a half for lunch and I didn’t drive. I went on Shi Jie’s car and we went to McDonald’s at Farlim for lunch. We didn’t want to go to Greenlane’s McDonald’s which is nearer because there will be a lot of students as there’s 4 school around it.

We thought the Farlim’s would have less people but we were wrong. It’s full house and most of them were from my school. We had to sit outside then, no AC and enjoyed hot afternoon day.

Two more subjects, Chemistry and Chinese. 8th and 14th December. =)

4 More Days Left Until SPM Ends

The SPM is very long, it started from 18th November and will be ending on 14th December which is almost a month, but then the exams are only 9 days and 5 days had past.

Not going to say so far so good now because the last paper I had on Wednesday, Additional Mathematics was pretty challenging, managed to finish all but then I knew I already got a few answers wrong. So hopefully, A it will be.

Tuesday was Moral paper, it was good because I’ve got all the moral values and definition in my head, it still running in there now, I just blah everything out on the paper. That’s the simple part of it, hard part was, a single word different from the definition will result a zero marks, hope I did no mistake.

I had plenty of time after that paper because it ended early in the morning.

Day 6, Additional Mathematics day was like an outing day for me. After paper 1, we had 4 hours in between until the next paper starts. Some went home, to sleep, to read, some stayed in school, some went I-got-no-idea-where and for me, I didn’t want to go home because I didn’t feel like reading, moreover modem spoilt and I couldn’t go online.

Found friends who were going out and joined them for brunch at Air Itam.

After that, went back to school, finding everyone didn’t want to go elsewhere and nobody wanted to go out with me, so I went to town alone, Prangin Mall, to buy a new modem and to develop my 120mm film. I just got plenty of time at that time, to town, buying, photo shop, and back to school, it just took me an hour.

When back to school, there’s like an hour more till next paper, real bored.

Forgot to mention, that whole day was black and white day, turned on black and white setting and mounted a 50mm lens. Weeeee, and thanks Jing Min for the last shot, skilled.

Day 4 of SPM

Day 4 has gone and I still have to say, so far so good. Today’s Mathematics paper was relatively easy. What’s challenging will still be the Additional Mathematics paper.

But then I got to say I love today’s paper so much because it’s easy and enjoy doing it fast. Don’t know why I felt so sleepy, after finishing the question, I took a short rest on top of the table. I thought of rechecking my answer after a few minutes of rest, but I fell asleep, seeing that the time left was only 5 minutes, so didn’t get to check everything but still, feeling good with my answer, confidence and my sleep.

The school holiday has began today, everyone is sleeping at home and I am having exam, that’s the standard thing. This also means that the canteen auntie and uncle take their days off, going for a hiatus for two month, meaning too, I don’t get to eat canteen food anymore.

Luckily there’s still one stall opens, trying to earn extra cash during the holiday and they sell fried rice and char siew rice, not very tasty but out of choice and hungry, still have to eat.

Tomorrow will me Moral Ed paper, you heard it right, we have Moral Education as one of our paper in such a big exam, a lot of memorizing to do and good luck for it, hope my mind don’t forget everything. I will be back after before noon because this paper ends at 10.30am.
