Saturday was Valentine’s Day
Written by Nicholas Chan on February 15, 2009 – 11:00 pm -Valentine’s Day, some say it’s is a very romantic day, some say it’s a very fun day, some say it’s a very boring day, some say it’s a very sad day, some say what is that day. Unfortunately, I got no date, but it’s not same like any other Saturday, at least I did have some activities for myself on this year’s Valentine’s Day.
It was a Saturday and it was just yesterday and I was home alone, mom and dad went to Genting Highland to celebrate their Valentine’s Day and I was in Penang, went to school in the morning as it’s a school replacement day for us. Surprisingly, I was not a school day hater, I like school, and it’s fun as I can talk a lot in school, sing and play but not homework.
I was on my own the whole day so I brought my camera to school and kept it in a very secure place. No I don’t ride a motor bike, I was just wearing my friend’s helmet for fun. This year is also the year I am getting my driving licence and I am so excited about that.
(Arron behind the windows.)
(It’s Zez sticking his face to the door.)
(He’s Herrick, guest he is a new face in this blog. Ignore the hand behind.)
Because I was on my own the whole day, so I stayed back after school for lunch at the school canteen, only then I went home myself. Then I slept at home whole afternoon to wait my friend to come by my place to visit me a while.
Wei Chung and I then went to the beach at Tanjung Bungah, he wanted to draw some graffiti on the sand. Frankly and sand gold.
There were so many people at the beach, a lot of couples too. I wondered, why couples chose to go to the beach on a Valentine’s Day but not any other day? The beach is so small and suddenly feel like so crowded.
In another case, there’s traffic jam at Gurney Drive and I were told that movie tickets were all sold out at the cineplex in Gurney Plaza. Why don’t they watch movie on the weekdays? Moreover it’s cheaper on Wednesday as it’s the movie day. Maybe people were looking for the happenings feel, sorry that I don’t have that feel yesterday, I was so lazy to go to the mall to feel the crowded atmosphere.
(Menzi! What are you doing to Andy?!)
Later at night, I went to Chin Ping’s house for a BBQ night. Very thank you for inviting over and thanks for the guys for the BBQ because I did nothing there but just eat. Haha, we talked a lot there and see people play cards, I was not in the “playing card’ mood so I was just an observer beside the player, watching and watching. The food was nice and I want to say “Hello auntie, chiak ba liao buay? Thank you for coming to my blog and wish you happy always”. =) Auntie that I mentioned is Chin Ping’s mother, who said she reads my blog a lot. She’s very friendly by the way. Another thanks is, thanks Wei Chung and Chin Yen for fetching me.
Happy Valentine’s Day No More.

Arron is in good health
Written by Nicholas Chan on January 12, 2009 – 11:38 pm -For strangers, you guys may not know who is Arron (some does because he has appeared in my photos before), for readers from my school and friends of Arron, he is in good health. He was sicked, diagnosed with dengue fever from the stupid bite of a little tiny mosquito.
I did ask Arron which mosquito that bite him and how does it look like. I know that’s silly.
Dengue fever got no cure and the symptoms are rashes over the body and fever. In school, teacher told us that dengue fever can cause death but so far, from what I’ve seen and know and met, there’s zero death case from dengue fever. Though, it does sounds a little bit scary to me.
I and Chien Chern visited him after school with our uniform on and we walked all the way to the hospital at Jalan Tan Sri Teh Ewe Lim. We were talking on the road so we didn’t even know it took us half an hour to walk to the hospital.
We didn’t bring any fruit basket or any flowers to visit a patient in the hospital, should we have? People always do this in the TV series, but in real life do you? I don’t know but for “Get well soon” card, I’ve received one before, long time ago.
After studying a year in the science stream classes in school, I now know what is Sodium Chloride, it’s a kind of salt. I wondered why the hanging is Sodium Chloride instead of glucose? Pity him for hanging the thing because he said the thing is very irritating, he has to bring it along everywhere he goes and that makes him lazy to walk around in the hospital.
I got nothing to do and went to explore the cupboard and found Arron’s mind thinking puzzle game. I took it out and tried two maps. The game goes like this, there’s different pieces and must be fit in the square, bear cannot be in the water and the fish must be in the water. There’s 50 different puzzle map and I just tried one for fun.
Get well soon!

Written by Nicholas Chan on November 11, 2008 – 5:44 pm -It’s just some random shoot out while we were waiting for food in Gurney Plaza. There’s a part saying “Wo Men Ai Lim Mey Ling” by Moral Club’s BOD which means “We Love Lim Ley Ling”. Lim Mey Ling is the current teacher advisor for the Moral Club of Chung Ling High School.

Friday in (Chung Ling High) School
Written by Nicholas Chan on October 12, 2008 – 2:05 am -The Form 3 PMR examination is getting near and actually it will be starting on this Monday. It’s already not my business because I’ve gone over it last year. It was really and fun and trust me guys, it’s easier than what you expect.
Class is getting free nowadays because year end exam is approching, teacher has finished teaching the text and some teachers are going away to help out for the PMR examination. At some times, some days, I took out my camera to shoot.
Friday, morning was boring. A few lesson were free, no one came in to bother about us. Some were doing revision, some were talking around and I was just busy taking photo for the long 45 minutes of free lesson.
This is a Arron’s hand.
This is Arron.
And this is Arron being emo. =)
At some corner of the class, 2 were playing checkers with the Go beans on a piece of graph paper. That’s a good way of using unwanted resources. Some one brought a set of Go chess set and left it in class for some times and they use it for checkers now.
Talking in class is just a normal scene. You don’t want to see a class that everyone is looking at their book, it’s boring.
In the middle of the class, we found some poker cards. Not playing with it, but just taking some photograph.
Looking at the notice board is where you see my blog list on it. =) Though, some idiots actually dirty it with the whiteboard eraser. I don’t really care as long as the words is still visible.
This is a hardworking one, Chien Chern.
I was trying to capture a scene where the bell rings and then all the students are running out of the classroom rushing for buses and home, though everyone was like very relaxing. It’s a slow school dismissal. Haha.

I had a file and a book fell down to the grounf from third floor and luckily my friend passed by to help me picked it up. Nothing was damaged.
While on the way going out of the school, I saw a lot of paper plane on the field. People is getting more and more boring nowadays, I think it’s the tension of the approaching or examination, they need some little entertainment to release the tension.
