I’ve been to the Penang Chowrasta Market twice in this month already. It’s a very famous market in Penang in the heart of the city near to Penang Road. I like this place because it’s very happenings in the morning with the little road congested with people of all ages. The only bad thing is the hot tropical weather here in Penang, but if you go early in the morning like 8am, it wouldn’t be very hot.
There’s actually reasons of me going to the Chowrasta Market. One is to visit my tuition who is helping out at one of the “Kiam Sui Di” stall and another reason is to take photos. You can capture a lot of faces there at the market. My first roll of film of lomography was also taken at there.
I went there last Sunday and the Sunday before last Sunday. =) Went to eat breakfast there too and there have a lot of nice local food, the Wan Tan Mee, Jawa Mee and Hokkien Mee are nice.

This is what I meant “Kiam Sui Di”, literally means Salty Sour Sweet, which I don’t really know what it’s really called in English, it’s some sort of marinated fruits.
