It’s a Sight First project and it’s fun. Basically, one have pay RM15 which was to donated to the St Nicholas Visually Impact Home, then one will find a partner. Then one will be blindfolded and lead by another who is not and have walk on the road to feel how’s a visually impact feels like.  According to some sources, there’s around 3000 people joined this event.

I was there to walk and also to help out to take some photos for the event. But I have dedicated most of my time and energy into the walk so I didn’t get a lot of photos there.

Very bad morning that I went to the toilet twice on that day for clearing the stomach. They got a fun morning aerobic session before the aprroximately 2.3km walk by the roadside.

I was not blindfolded at first, was leading some friends and taking photographs along the way. Only when I find everyone were lost, I went to find a group and walk together.

I found Jin Jie, Rong Zhi and Lester. There’s 4 person, lining up as a train, 3 blindfolded and one leading. I was on the last one, blindfolded all the time.

Most of the photos were taken by Jin Jie who was leading in front. I was blindfolded so I could not see anything, so I was enjoying being lead by people. I did capture video instead but haven’t take a look at it yet. Wonder what I did I shoot while I couldn’t see. It was really fun as we couldn’t see and were moving left and right to avoid rocks and bushes.

It’s like around 9.30, we reach Padang Polo again after walking from Jalan Sepoy Lines to Jalan Macalister to Jalan Residensi and back to Padang Polo.

Each of us gets a certificate of participation and some free snacks. There’s a lucky draw session too. Unfortunately I got nothing but I’m happy for my friends who got themselves prizes, there’s G Hotel free accomodation, pearl necklace from Vanessa’s Diamonds, an oven, SPA voucher and more for the lucky winner from my school.

Remember that we got Largest Leo Club Participation Award? We got like around 30 peoples from my club that day. Anyway, I had fun on that morning. Good to join in charity activity.

Yes, our club got the Largest Leo Club Participation Award last week at the Walk For Sight Charity Walk event which I will write about it in another time. It’s a charity walk where one was blind folded and lead by other to experience the life of a blind.

Recently, the new Board of Directors, my juniors had their own meeting at Greenlane McDonald’s, that’s where we always go for meeting. I went there too to join them and see what’s happening in the club right now with new admistration and too, for fun.

I didn’t really talk much there, I just listen and passed on some work to the new First Vice President. Our club has 3 vice president, I was first so I care about first more, of course I do care for the second vice president too. Due to some technical error, this new fiscal year has only 2 vice presidents, one out from previous years.

Another thing I want to mention is, this was my first time visiting the new Greenlane McDonald’s after the renovation upgrading work. It’s pretty but a little bit noisy, crowded and over happenings.

There’s a little more shot when we got back to the hotel. It’s hard to get up to the hotel room because the lift were fulled of people, like a thousand people, up and down. Many took the stairs instead even it’s on the high floor, but it’s actually faster than taking the lift.

We stayed at the lobby for like half an hour before moving up to the hotel rooms. It was 1 already when I reach my room, and after bath and cleaning up for everything, it’s like already 2 and I was still not sleeping yet at that time. Went to my friends room for card “Killer” games and it’s pretty excited, then went to another friends place for talking and ghost story and again to another room to continue the ghost story excitement and I got back to my room around 5 in the morning.

In the end, I got just a few hours of sleep for that day. Great!

I was not really fancy that night, very simple. A shirt and a tie and that’s me. Wanted to get a blazer before the event but didn’t really have a time to go and custom made one. I got a a tiny body so it’s not easy to look for one that suit me in the shops.

The meal was better than the night before because it’s not self service buffet, buffet is not fun because I hate queuing up for food and moreover there’s so many delegates. To be honest, I didn’t really eat much for this course dinner. One reason was the time interval between food was very long and I was so tired during that time as I just slept for like 3 hours the night before.

It’s a little bit stupid to see people moving around with the “Silent Please” sign, it’s just too noisy in the hall. One reason was, the food was not served early. Haha.

We sat really very very far from the stage and there’s not much entertainment going on that night. It was the top award giving ceremony. I got a Outstanding Vice President award in the afternoon on the same day and was hoping for a Top Vice President award but it went to someone else in Kuala Lumpur. Though, our club did got a Top Tresurer Award and that’s Jin Jie. =)

Food was not really important for that night as well as entertainment too. Award giving ceremony was already over and nothing much to be concern except moving around for photos. It’s the last night and need to take more photos for memories.

Photos speak for now, it’s just like a photograph night.

For the past few years, the Teachers’ Day celebrations were always the same, it’s listening to people talking on the stage about how grateful teachers are and were and there’s not really any performance too, it’s just a simple ceremony to shows that the school does celebrate teachers’ day.

It’s a little bit different for this year. Some teachers complained about the boring celebration for the past years and the principal had a little change for us. There’s still the formal celebration ceremony with talking in the hall, but after that, it’s party in the school. =)

The hall thing was just Form 3s and Form 5s, I don’t know why Form 4s were not there. It started at 8 but we were already in the hall before 7.30am. Everyone seems not excited to this because this is not something fun and we weren’t expecting anything from this.

It started off as usual with National and State’s anthem it then with a lot of speeches by the pricipal, the PTA’s chief, the teachers representative, the student representative and more. It’s a lot of boring speeches and nothing interest me or them.

So, with respect to the one talking in front, we just try to communicate softly, very soft to clear our boredom in the hall.

It’s not surprise to see people fell asleep in the hall. It’s just everywhere.

I didn’t leave my camera in class because I scared that when I got back to class, it’s not there. Seriously, such thing will happen, who knows? So it’s with me during that time and Juan requested me to take some shots of him and that’s what I got. The above 2 photos are Juan Shong, my class monitor. Looking good with the morning sunlight.

After all, they said that there’s at least a little entertainment in the hall which was when the school’s teachers were upstanding to sing the Teachers’ Day song, it’s a Malay song and it’s funny to see some expression on the teacher’s faces when they didn’t expect to be singing.

Anyway, Happy Teachers Day to the teachers who is reading this and happy teaching! =) It’s school life people, and I’ll be out of the school in less than 5 months, that’s a little bit sad and so it’s gonna be enjoy school life to the fullest right now.

Yesterday was a party day in school and there’s no lesson for whole day. It’s just party and taking photos. My class monitor, Juan asked us to go to the field to take a photos from the third floor, it’s not aerial photo yet.

I passed my camera to a friend, Chien Chern, he was helping me to operate the camera from the third floor where my class was. Then we made ourself into 2 words on the field.

Guess what alphabet it is? It’s A1, but the 1 doesn’t look like 1, the 3 person in front should make a straight line vertically. We were kinda rush at that time so, it’s just something fast but yet we got some memories for my class of 2009 in Chung Ling High School and that 5S(cience)A1. Thanks to Juan for this idea.

This is a post tribute to Michael Jackson. I am not sure whether I am a fan of him or not, I think I am. I know about Michael Jackson when I was like 5 years old, daddy had a few CDs and VCDs of him and I watched it last time. I like his song, I like his dancing, I don’t really about his appearance from black to white and his child molestation accused, it’s weird but somehow he was and is still the King of Pop.

Look at his concert, there’s like tenth of thousands of fans at every of his concert and I saw once before that some of his fan fainted at his concert. It’s just incredible, his power, his attractions, everyone was like so crazy about him.

Mix FM is playing Michael Jackson’s song for a whole day.

His death was so unexpected and shocking. I was going to school this morning and just when I arrived at school, the radio DJ announced his dead and I was shock by what I heard. I quickly checked the news through my phone and it’s true. It’s just kind of unbelievable. He was there in London few months back, looking good and not old, and he is gone now. He was supposed to have a concert in July in London but no one really expected his death at this time.

When he announced his Final Curtain Calls concert, I was wondering how could he dance while he was ill, but he didn’t look ill on any part of his physical outlook. He was just great.

Well, he is gone right now, physically, but he, will still always stay in our mind. He is just King of Pop and at this moment, I believe no one could replace his King of Pop title, yet.

RIP Michael Jackson.
