Heroes Season 3, Villains coming back in September 22

One of my favourite American TV series, Heroes will be back in September 22. The previous season or Chapter 2 gave me a little bit of dissapointment because of the writer strikes and cut down so many episodes which made it only 11 episodes in season 2.

Nevertheless, I still like the show a lot and can’t wait for it in September. I don’t watch it local TV or Astro because it’s like a season slower than in America, I just download off the net right after it shown in the U.S. I can teach you how if you would like to know, email me. =)

The trailer kinda confuse me. Will Peter become the dark side or whoever on the good side turn into bad? Excited.

Kung Fu Dunk was lousy

I went to watch the almost midnight show of Kung Fu Dunk last weekend and seriously I got to say “It sucks”. Sorry Jay Chou, the movie doesn’t look interesting to me. Though, the whole cinema room was full with peoples.

I actually wanted to watch CJ7 on that night but then almost all show for all times were sold out and no more nice seats except for Kung Fu Dunk. Whatever, I thought it will be nice so bought 2 tickets for me and brother. Got people told me this movie is nice, when I first saw the poster got Jay Chou, Eric Tsang and Ah Sa, I also thought it’s nice, but somehow disappointing.

*got a little bit of spoiler ahead*

What I don’t like about this movie is,

  • Jay Chou doesn’t sounds like him because the voice had already been translate to Cantonese. The lips look unnatural when talking already. Some other actors too.
  • Storyline is no good. Basketball, basketball and basketball.
  • Ah Sa was like care-leh-fair (side actress) in the movie.
  • Some computer graphics and effects that make the movie looks lousy.

If you haven’t watch, don’t watch. Watch CJ7 or Jumper better in the cinema or wait for the DVD releases.

FYI, Jay Chou does makes good movie like the previous Secret which I had watch 3 times.

I watched quite lot of movies since holiday

I am a person that enjoy watching movie, DVD or at cinema. But please, I hate pirated DVD with cinema version, or if it’s clear but sounds not nice, I also don’t want! I can wait, how long also wait until a clear one release only buy and watch. Or else what the TV and sound system are for.

I watched quite lots of movies lately, since holiday started. I watch until I find no DVD to buy in DVD shops. If there’s DVD renting service here, I will go rent, rent those movie that I haven’t heard before one to watch. If buy, I don’t want spend on movie that I don’t know loh.

Here’s a list of movies that I’ve watched since holiday till now. So I am gonna share with you what you should and should not watch. That’s my 2 cent only. =)


American Gangster - I like the story. Based on a true story. Good.


Evan Almighty - Don’t like. Super un-logic. Bruce Almighty is 10 times better.


Die Hard 4.0 - Love it a lot. Love the computer related stuff, the story. But Bruce Willis so hard to die one. No wonder DIE HARD.

28 Weeks Later - I like zombies move like Resident Evil. So I say good. Now I want find 28 Days Later to watch.


Shooter - Nice action movie.


Shrooms - Don’t watch this. Lousy horror movie. Stupid story.


Resident Evil : Extinction - OK only, can go watch. Hope got the fourth Resident Evil movie.


Rush Hour 3 : Good laugh, previous one seems better.


The Kingdom - Love it, but ending there too simple already. But the movie is very cool.


Enchanted - Watched it yesterday. Watching it from a kids mind and I like it. Like the songs, actor and actress.


The Last Breath - Bull shit story but give a good scare.


881 : The Papaya Sisters - Funny, super duper lame and a lot of singings like High School Musical.


Harry Potter : The Order of The Phoenix - I know this is old, but I last time missed it in cinema, so I bought the DVD. Not bad.

Balls of Fury - Lame la! Can laugh, but don’t really like it.

That’s all I guess.

Now waiting for Brothers to be release in DVD, next week go watch I am Legend and Warlord, then also The Golden Compass. End of the month got Alien vs Predator 2.

Seriously, watching movie is very enjoying one. Maybe next time can ask me go cinema if you find no one to go with. Hehe.

Astro On Demand Is A Widescreen Channel

Do you know that Astro On Demand is actually a widescreen channel? All channel in Astro is standard 4:3 screen size, if you watch Astro on a widescreen LCD the object people all become fat fat one.

While for Astro On Demand channel, if you watching it on normal screen TV, you will see 2 bar above and below. That is their technique for you to watch 16:9 widescreen show on your widescreen plasma/LCD tv.

If you are using a Samsung TV, press P.Size for Zoom, then you will see the bar removed. If other TV, find Zoom or Picture Size or something about zoom. But after zoom, you can’t read the subtitle as the subtitle is at the black bar area.

Shiok LO! If all channel like that ah, then its a very good reason for changing my living room tv to a widescreen one.

Jay Chou is directing a movie! Call 不能说的秘密 Bu Neng Shuo De Mi Mi - Secrets I Can’t Tell. Cool man! Singer, actor now movie director. In the movie will see Jay himself acting, Anthony Wong Chou Shang (黄秋生), Nan Quan Mama (南拳妈妈), Guey Lun Mei (桂纶镁).

See the trailer, Jay look very yeng when he playing the piano. Somemore got Anthony Wong Chou Shang in the movie. While for the girl Guey Lun Mei, I got no idea who she is but she look pretty.
