Fashion Show of Recycled Material at Leo Forum 08′

Written by Nicholas Chan on June 8, 2008 – 11:33 pm -

There’s a session where several teams’ model were selected to be present on the stage to showcase their masterpiece which was those wearable items that made from recycled material etc. newspaper, broken clothing. Funny to see most of the models were male and they were like gaying around. Unfortunately, my team, team L or what we called it the MaKenzzi didn’t get it through the judge so you can’t see my team model on the stage.

There’s 2 men with boobs. Peoples were like laughing when they were going up the stage and so do. Pretty creative with that. As for little girl, it’s the only girl among all the boys.

The given materials were mainly newspaper and pretty hard to make something that can wear out of newspaper because it can be torn easily. And then, you still have to keep it well and make sure it still can be worn the next day because all of these were made the day before during the team building session.

By the way, you guys are polluting the environment with newspapers. Just kidding.

Nowadays, people’s parking skill is getting more and more powderful. Few days ago, I was in Gurney Plaza parking floor and saw 2 cars were actually close together. Eventually, its number plate actually touched the other car backside. Woot!

Artwork in School’s Toilet

Written by Nicholas Chan on May 24, 2008 – 1:05 am -

The boy’s toilet is just right beside our class. That’s a good thing for us because we can go to the toilet whenever we want without noticing the teacher. Haha, of course this is illegal.

In our school, when we want to go the the toilet, we have to sign a blue card as a permission for getting out of the class. Since our class is beside the toilet, some teacher don’t really sign it and just let us go. Of course, some just hop out from the back door. Recently, during a visit to the toilet. I found new drawings inside. Toilets in our school are like a place for people exhibit their artwork.

Not bad right? I can’t even write/draw something like this. My drawing suck, but I like designing stuff.

It says “Wipe you mouth after shit” and “Wash your hand after pee”. Oh my god! What a good phrase. LOL.

How to catch a lizard

Written by Nicholas Chan on May 19, 2008 – 12:57 am -

Freaking lizard

What do you do when you see a lizard running around in your room? On the floor or on the wall or any where, don’t panic. Be slow and steady, then go and look for a pesticides. If you are fast, you can catch it with your hand, but I prefer not to because it’s ewwie. Hehe. I don’t know since when the little lizard’s tail was dropped off. Maybe I am not the first person who was catching it?

I found Shieldtox at home which is for mosquitoes. Just imagine the lizard is mosquitoes and spray on it without any mercy as if you are spraying your hair. LOL. If you are kind, use a tissue paper, wrap it up and throw it into the toilet bowl, or else, I threw it down my apartment. I bet it will not break its bones, because it don’t have bones! So, I didn’t kill it, instead, I released it from high grounds. =D

Typo Chemistery

Written by Nicholas Chan on May 17, 2008 – 12:10 am -

Chemistery

It is Chemistery or Chemistry? This was what the teacher wrote on the whiteboard before the Chemistry paper started. My friend saw that first and we were laughing at it. Is it the teacher is not English literate or he was just following what was writing on the title ofexam question paper? Surprisingly, the title was showing Chemistery on the question paper. Well, which is the correct one?

4SA5

During this exam period, we got a lot free time between the interval of different papers. Though, most of the people used it on chatting with each other instead of doing the last minute revision. It’s so noisy in class and it’s pretty hard for people to make the facts to go into their mind. So people would rather talk then read.

Today’s Mathematic paper was a little bit hard to me, there’s some question that I can’t work out and I just realise that I am getting bad in Maths. Seriously, I need to work up on it already.

As for Chinese essay, I’m satisfied with what I have written. For the first time, I wrote over 3 pages. Although I told you that my Chinese suck, but I just use all those simple words, vocab and blog language. That’s the advantages of writting blog. Well, write more blog and improve your language. Yay!

link to my Chinese blog.

Hong Kong Madame Tussauds Wax Musuem

Written by Nicholas Chan on May 16, 2008 – 12:54 am -

Oww, this is like ages ago. No, it’s 10 weeks ago of me in Hong Kong. Yeah, finally I got a little spare time to look up in my photo album and upload the photos that I’ve taken in the Wax Musuem at The Peak Galleria, Hong Kong.

If it was not my brother, I would know that there’s such places in Hong Kong. This was my first time going into the Madame Tussauds wax museum. Museum is always boring but not the wax, because you can a lot of photos with “celebrities” in there. Do what you like because there’s just no one bother about you.

Ha! It’s not cheap. HK$140 per person, and me, mom and dad is a total of HK$420 (RM172). That’s a lot, but I really wanted to go in to take a look, since we got plenty of time in Hong Kong, seriously.

When going in, there’s there wax statue of Jackie Chan, though it is not allow of public photo, if you want to take photo with Jackie Chan, you have to use their camera and buy their prints. Boo! I rather go in and use my camera. Just forget about Jackie Chan.

There’s plenty for you to take photo with. Some looks exactly like the real one, some doesn’t, like Jay Chou.

Haha. If you try to look into the pants, you’ll see no dick. It’s pretty quiet on that day, maybe it’s a working day or people don’t want to spend to visit it. You can just like run around as you like. So we spent like 1 and a half hour inside taking photos. Of course I took a lot, but also filter a lot not nice one, and just share something good. =)

Lastly, I manage to dig Andy Lau’s nos.

Live Dewan Rakyat / Malaysia Parliament

Written by Nicholas Chan on May 1, 2008 – 9:40 am -

Today is the first day of the Dewan Rakyat or Malaysia Parliament debate in Parliament. After the General Election in March, I am getting more interested in political issues because I want the best Malaysia but of course I won’t join any party party in the future. =D Just to improve my general knowledge knowing this stuff. School don’t allow teacher to discuss politics so many people don’t know about it. We knew those stuff from the paper and Internet.

Still remember the ex CM of Penang says that Don’t Trust Blogger, but now everyone is blogging. Jeff Ooi, first blogger to be in the parliament, from a normal blogger to a real politician, salute.

Cut the crap. Since today is the first parliament debate of the new parliament formed, new Information Minister said that there will be 30 minutes of Live Telebroadcast from the Parliament in the morning. I am quite interest in watching it as you can see the opposition shouting and pointing at the Barisan National and vice versa. You shoot me, I shoot back you. Since I was in school, I got no chance in watching it, though I had found a short clip on the net, so I’ll share with you.

“Very disappointing,” Information Minister Ahmad Shabery Cheek said when asked about the conduct in the House on the first day of the proceedings of the 12th session.

“We will reconsider whether the ‘live’ telecast should be continued because, right on the first day, it was grossly abused by the MPs,” he said.

Now the Info Minister said that he will review this live broadcast again. Boo. Want to watch the next live parliament, but don’t know got the chance or not.

Live today :

An old parliament video, not gonna elaborate much, scared of ISA, watch it, very interesting.
