Nick Chan during Kindergarten
Written by Nicholas Chan on July 3, 2008 – 1:18 am -This is a special post on a photo of me during kindergarten time. I can hardly remember back then, only I knew that I went pre-school at Bluebell Kindy at Island Glades. I’ve forgotten where i left all my photos and yesterday night, someone nudge me on my IM and asked me if I was from Bluebell.
She’s indeed from the same kindy as me and still remember me. Though, I have already forgotten. She scanned a group photo of the little class for me. Thanks Mei Fen!
Yo! Spot me? I am sitting in the center beside an unknown young girl and too, I got no idea who is Mei Fen in the photo. I only know I was cute. Haha. This is what people meant, memories.

I just got myself a Nintendo DS Lite
Written by Nicholas Chan on June 4, 2008 – 2:07 am -After saving for so long, with some of my allowance and some of my Chinese New Year ang bao leftover, I finally got myself a holiday gift. My life will be dull if I stop buying things or gadgets because it’s the only way that makes my life wonderful. You can say that I love shopping, but shops for gadget. I don’t get a new gadget like very often, I get it like like once a few many months. Twice a year I guess.
That’s why I keep records with my allowance saving, eat less in school if craving for something.

No and I didn’t get my Nintendo DS here at Little India. I just went down town 2 days ago on my own by bus to the post office to get my parcel.
I didn’t really know the way to the post office, I alight at Little India and walked towards Beach St. I knew it’s somewhere there but not so sure which corner is it at. Little India is really little and the road is quite narrow, though didn’t really see a lot of tourist and Indians there. I guess it needs some expansion to a bigger Little India to attract more people.
I woke up quite late on that day and I didn’t really check on the pick up time of my parcel. In the bus, I checked the card and OMG the office closed at 12.30 for the lunch break and I was like “bus, please go faster faster.” Alighted and I was walking pretty quick. Took me about 15 minutes from Little India to the post office.

Then I had to walked along the road down Weld Quay to the bus terminal beside the jetty to take a bus back home. I did not go back home right as I need to go to meet up with my friend at Prangin Mall for lunch and also to get my Nintendo DS.

It’s useless getting the game cartridge without the machine right?

It was either Black or White at first. Survey about the price at all the shops in Prangin Mall, and the cheapest I found is RM530 and they don’t have the Black, so I went to the White one. Yes I know it will get dirty easily, I can just wipe away the dirty thing right?
Yo, people let’s game! I can share games like up to 8-16 people with one cartridge.

China girl shoots her mouth at Sichuan earthquake incident
Written by Nicholas Chan on May 22, 2008 – 11:28 pm -Oh my god, there’s actually people that is so free to record a video cursing at the people in Sichuan and talking cock off it. She didn’t even show any sympathy and just non-stop shooting, is it cold blooded or what? If you don’t like it just keep quiet, don’t create buzz. Maybe she want to be famous on the Internet. If so, she should go for adult video rather than taking such video. But it’s human rights, so you want to shoot you shoot, I’ll just help you promote. =)
The video is in Chinese and has been subbed with Chinese and English. Her skill damn bagus!
Is this so called China B!+ch?
Update:English subbed video have been removed from the net. Partially translation is after More button.

Gifts from Japan, Tokyo Disney Limited Edition Coke
Written by Nicholas Chan on May 22, 2008 – 10:56 pm -Should I say he is my friend or my teacher? Guess I am not in his class, I’ll say we are friend. =) Kev or Anthony, a person with 2 names, went to Japan last week and I need to thank him a lot for getting me the local coke. Yes, I am a coke collector, if you happens to go to other country, help me get one too, I’ll pay you back or give me as souvenirs. Hehe.
I collect coke because I think it’s a good souvenir for people to get for and it’s easy to buy too. Just walk into any local 7 Eleven, take a coke, pay and walk out. Most people don’t know what souvinier to buy for friends when they go to travel, in the end, a few bags of edible thing is brought back. I rather have something that can keep as memory than eat and forget and so coke it is.
I believe there’s a glass of coke in its classic bottle inside this can. It is sealed with tape on the opening and so I don’t wanna ruin the beauty of the can. Just leave it inside and not gonna drink it because it’s a limited edition coke in conjunction with Tokyo Disney Resort 25th Anniversary. Anthony bought it for 800 yens (RM20), quite expensive but it’s limited what.
I wonder how much will it be 50 years later? Haha. I think it can make money, though at this moment I don’t sell but collect. It’s pretty isn’t it?
You don’t see such coke in Malaysia. It’s always the same, even last year’s Malaysia 50th Year of Independence, they didn’t come out one with that theme.
Although this is a bit crooked. I don’t mind actually, it’s still something from Japan and it’s still a coke, filled with coca cola in it. I have a fe of these, same size but all have different wordings. Nice one.
Thank you so much for the cokes! I mean it.

Hong Kong Madame Tussauds Wax Musuem
Written by Nicholas Chan on May 16, 2008 – 12:54 am -Oww, this is like ages ago. No, it’s 10 weeks ago of me in Hong Kong. Yeah, finally I got a little spare time to look up in my photo album and upload the photos that I’ve taken in the Wax Musuem at The Peak Galleria, Hong Kong.
If it was not my brother, I would know that there’s such places in Hong Kong. This was my first time going into the Madame Tussauds wax museum. Museum is always boring but not the wax, because you can a lot of photos with “celebrities” in there. Do what you like because there’s just no one bother about you.
Ha! It’s not cheap. HK$140 per person, and me, mom and dad is a total of HK$420 (RM172). That’s a lot, but I really wanted to go in to take a look, since we got plenty of time in Hong Kong, seriously.
When going in, there’s there wax statue of Jackie Chan, though it is not allow of public photo, if you want to take photo with Jackie Chan, you have to use their camera and buy their prints. Boo! I rather go in and use my camera. Just forget about Jackie Chan.
There’s plenty for you to take photo with. Some looks exactly like the real one, some doesn’t, like Jay Chou.
Haha. If you try to look into the pants, you’ll see no dick. It’s pretty quiet on that day, maybe it’s a working day or people don’t want to spend to visit it. You can just like run around as you like. So we spent like 1 and a half hour inside taking photos. Of course I took a lot, but also filter a lot not nice one, and just share something good. =)
Lastly, I manage to dig Andy Lau’s nos.

Prepaid Mastercard for Coffee
Written by Nicholas Chan on May 12, 2008 – 5:15 pm -For the first time, I’ve used my debit card outdoor, swipe and signed.
Previously, I only used one which is buying a domain name on the Internet. I got this card for free with RM50 preloaded in it when dad bough some electric appliances from SenQ. I always wanted to get myself a prepaid credit card or a debit card for my own use when buying stuff on the Internet. Since I am not eligible for a credit card yet, so a prepaid one serves me well.
I have no need to walk into 7 Eleven to get a AmBank NexG or a Mol Freedom prepaid Mastercard, since I already have this for free.
I went to Starbucks Coffee, twice last week. I didn’t want to use my cash and I still remember I have credit left in the card, so I might as well use it to pay for coffee. Fast and efficient, I got my Vanilla Latte and ice blended Java Chips.
The card is going to be dry. Have to top up for credit. Haha. It’s not neccesary right now as I am not doing any online shopping at the moment.
I recommend PlusOne ECash and MOL Freedom if you are looking for a prepaid Mastercard. The PlusOne ECash can be get from SenQ and RHB Bank while MOL Freedom is available at all 7 Eleven store nationwide.

I made myself a Blogger Tag
Written by Nicholas Chan on May 10, 2008 – 10:38 pm -I was wondering how do I publicize my blog outside, offline. Print a shirt with my blog link on it? Yes, it’s a good idea. I already made a few design of the shirt but until now I still haven’t print it out on a shirt. Should I DIY to buy a transfer paper and iron on it or take to the shop and ask the person to make for me? I’m sure it’s expensive.
Well, I have a lanyard tag lying around in my room. Why not write something on it and hang it on my bag or maybe as my personal media pass? Haha.
I made myself one today. Just type and print it out. Not wearing the lanyard, but hanging around my camera bag when I go to the model shootout at Gurney Plaza today.
Not a bad idea right? Free publicity for my blog. Wonder if anybody saw this on my bag. Haha. Gonna make a few more for my other bags. This is on my camera bag at the moment, later one for my tuition bag, one for my school bag. Wee~
