Day 1 and 2 of SPM 2009 Were So Far So Good
Written by Nicholas Chan on November 20, 2009 – 1:18 am -So, I am currently sitting for an examination, a test, a big one, once in a lifetime and it’s the SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia or more likely a O Level equivalent examination). I have been studying like crazy for the past few weeks, cramping as much facts as I could into my brain, finally 3 have done and 7 more to go which makes, I don’t know how many days left, but the whole thing will end of afternoon of 16th 14th December.
Everything was scary at first but as I started getting my hands on the pen, things change and so far, so good. Cannot be sure that it will be excellence, but it’s not bad, still doing good. 2 scary subjects, Malaysian History and Malay have gone.
English was pretty fun, especially the writing part. I wrote on the question of “Write a story ending with : …We said our goodbyes and went our separate ways.” I didn’t thought of writing a story, normally I would write an argumentative essay and blast all my own thoughts and philosophy, but things became different. I went for a story, the last time I wrote a story was 2 years back.
Interesting, I wrote something about war and uses some medical term and borrowed a small bit from Grey’s Anatomy. Woo! Hours spent on enjoying Grey’s Anatomy during last weekend paid me off. Yay. Love my story and enjoyed every moment making the story out.
Weather have been not so sunny lately and it chills during the morning, when all the FOUR fans in class fanning at full speed. I thought it would be hot sitting in the class, but it isn’t. I guess the one in the hall would be colder because of the air conditioned.
Time duration for English and History were pretty long and everyone was just like lying on the table, sleeping, napping for the past 45 minutes and for History, some struggles till the last minute.
And I forget to mention that before going into our exam classroom, we must have our body temperature check and have our hand wash with the provided hand sanitizer. Face mask was provided too. It’s an preventive measurement for A-H1N1, good one.
Have fun, enjoy, happy Malaysian school holidays.
