Leo Forum 09:Very hot special project by the river
Written by Nicholas Chan on June 16, 2009 – 12:00 am -To be honest, the Leo Forum’s Special Project was really very hot and in fact, boring. It’s not fun and it’s a little bit waste of time. It’s just throwing the mudball (for once) into the river (in fact, it’s a big drain). It’s just an awareness to tell people what the mudballs can do but then the effect cannot be seen immediately.
I was playing with the iDog while waiting for people to come.
He is Victor Tan.
Me and Jin Jie with Rong Zhi’s finger.
I was there pretty early to help out, but I did nothing. I was just standing there ushering the Leo delegates.
It’s pretty hard to explain what we were doing and why we were there. It’s part of our Leo Forum program and Leo Forum is where the members of Leo Club, a service club from all over the Malaysia gather around, share, eat, socialize, meet people and work out on a special project like this.
Me on the left, KOKahKOK was there too!
Hong Wei Kuan, my form 3′s member.
This is not special, this is hotness. Imagine around 1000 people standing under the hot sun in the middle of the day with outside temperature sky high at around 38 degree cel, it’s crazy!
Royblin Neoh and Alvin Yang.
Lee Cheng Yee, son of popular tuition teacher Lee Choo Hock. He was the organizing chairperson for this thing and it’s so hot!
YBs were there, press were there and it’s at Bayan Lepas. Every car that passed by will definitely slow down and look at what we were doing. There’s no banner or anything telling what we were doing, so they could just simplyguess around.
Two badly organized things were, one is no canopy under the hot sun, two was transportation problem which caused a jam at the road there and some Leo Forum delegates didn’t get to join the throwing of mudballs because of traffic jam and no place to park the buses.
It’s already over, don’t want to complain anymore. I just wanted to say this again, it was really very hot!
