Expensive Leica M8

Have you ever seen this before? A Leica M8 digital rangefinder. What wow me is the prcing at RM20k and of course the vintage look is pretty. Until now, I still don’t really understand what’s a rangefinder camera. Anybody who know can tell me more about it? I only know it’s expensive, it’s the famous Leica. You can manual focus and there’s a big aperture lens with it. =)
