Won a 2GB Flash Drive at Nokia Roadshow
Written by Nicholas Chan on March 30, 2009 – 10:49 pm -On Earth Hour’s evening, the Saturday night, I went to Gurney Plaza but did not expect to see the Nokia Roadshow and the iPhone 3G on demo. I was just planning to go there for dinner, but something more big came to me was that I won a Nokia paperbag with a 2GB flash drive in it.
It was fast. I arrived at Gurney Plaza by foot, we walked to the central attrium and saw the Nokia Roadshow. Then I heard a the Nokia people speaking on the mic saying that there’s a game going on. He asked who have a cameraphone can join. I have and moreover my phone is a Nokia phone. It sounds fun, no one actually bother to take part in it, so I walked ahead with Kenny joining with another stranger from the public.
There’s only 3 participant. It’s just a short game. We were given a theme, “Future” and then snap something with you imaginary mine and that come out with some word to describe your photo.
Here is what I’ve got. That is Yong Seng in the photo, touching or perhaps pointing at the TV screen but not touching it. So I told the Nokia people, “It’s the future technology where people can actually navigate through menu with a touch but not really touching on the screen, it’s touchless…” Kenny’s photo is about navigating menu through screaming to the phone. Then in the end, I won a 2GB flash drive.
So fast and easy. Actually the thing that I said actually exist in today’s technology but still in the process of experimenting.
The flash drive is cute, it’s a wrist band cum flash drive. =) Thanks to Nokia.
The Nokia paperbag consist of other gift like badges, lanyard, stickers and some their mobile phone promotional cards.
