Hello from Phuket

Hello people, reader, friends, family, good friend, bad friend, hater, lover, anybody and everyone.

How are you guys? I am now saying hi from the hotel lobby of Amata Hotel at Patong Beach, Phuket Island, Southern Thailand. First of all, the mosquitoes here at the open air lobby are killing me, so many bites and it’s so itchy so it’s gonna be a short update before I am going up back to my hotel room. I was waiting for dad and mom and now they are back already, so it’s only me alone at the hotel lobby, surfing the Internet, checking out some news, email and friend’s blog.

Travelling here is so far so good. The Firefly flight to here was good and the weather here is just the same as in Penang, quite hot in the afternoon.

Patong Beach is where I am living at and the majority of people moving around are tourist, foreigners mostly caucasian with only some Asian. I don’t really see many Thais here too, it seems like Nepalese are more than Thais at the night market here selling imitate branded products like shirts, handbags, watches.

The beach is nice, the food is OKOK, the shopping is cheap but a lot useless stuff.

What I’ve done was just shopping, shopping and shopping and one more was car trip around Phuket Town. I did go to the beach, strolled along the beach, take photograph, but I did not jump into the sea or did any water activities. One reason is, mom don’t want me to go into the sea. =( Nevermind, no matter how, I am still getting into the water, tomorrow (Sunday) when we will be on a boat trip to Phi Phi Island and at there, I will go for swimming, snorkelling and hopefully there’s parasailing.

Yes, I do miss home and my friends back at Penang. The only thing that I do not enjoy is no friends with me right now, it’s only me having fun myself. More friends are equal to more fun.

Going back to the room now and the Phi Phi Island tour will start at 8am Thailand time so I must go to bed now. Cheer and have a nice day. By the way, Happy Chap Goh Meh!
