Cable car fun ride to Sentosa Island
Written by Nicholas Chan on September 6, 2008 – 10:16 pm -I had a cable car fun ride to Sentosa Island 2 weeks ago when I was in Singapore during the school holiday. Shopping in Singapore is getting funless because everything is expensive and the exchange rate is going higher. Dad and I was boring in Vivo City after walking around the mall for some times and mom was happily walking around by her own.
Dad decided to take me on the cable car ride to let the time pass by. The cable car station is near to Vivo City but we had spent half an hour looking for it. The weird placing of the signs make us confuse about where is it. We eventually went to the cruise centre and came back down.
Cable car station is on HarbourFront Tower 2, it’s also the station in between the Mt Faber Station and the Sentosa Island Station. It is S$11 per return ticket for adults and additinal S$2 for the entrance fee to Sentosa Island.
Take the lift up to 15th floor and the cable car will be there waiting for you.
It had been a long time since I have sit on a cable car. I think it was four years ago when going on a field trip with the school to Genting Highland.
Look at the construction site, it’s gonna be the place where I want to visit a few years later. It’s the IR, Integrated Resorts of Sentosa Island where will house for a casino, various hotels and the Universal Studio, Singapore which will have a theme park with more rides and attraction then Japan’s Universal Studio. Damn cool right?
The ride to Sentosa Island took about 10 minutes. We just took some walk around the gate of Sentosa Island to look around. =)
