Visit to Penang Home

Last weekend, I went to visit Penang Home, an old folks home in Penang. It’s a project organized by the Leo Club. We had a little breakfast with the oldies and there’s free eyes and ears check at the home. I brought food too, it was just some 100 of cream puffs.

At about 9 in the morning, mom drove me there with those puff. When I arrived, all the olds were gathered at the canteen. There were like approximately 200 old men and ladies. My task to help out by distributing foods and also to take photograph.

After having their meal, we arranged those who want to conduct a free eyes and ear check. At some times, there were no people checking, I might as well just get myself checked. I got a real good eyesight by the way.

Ears check was just for fun when there was no one was checking. The girl put an instrument on my ears and ask me to hear if there was any sound. 4 tones were played and I only heard two. She said it was normal and I got a good hearing. Haha.

Frankly speaking, it was quite boring, we were just chatting around with other members. However, it was nice to see the olds smiled when we gave them food. They happy then I happy. Yo! I just did 3 hours of community service. =D
