Outside Siam Center
Written by Nicholas Chan on July 10, 2008 – 9:46 pm -As you might know if you read my blog, one of my live post from Bangkok was posted from Siam Center. It’s just a little mall with a few floors next to Siam Paragon. I didn’t walk much around inside, instead we just past through the building to go outside.
Getting outside, we saw a lot of peoples there, most probably were waiting for buses and taxi to go back home. It was dinner time and we were looking for restaurant to settle down too.
We just tried our luck, walked over the street to see if any Thai restaurant around. There’s this so call Bangkok’s Skytrain or BTS, which similar to our Kuala Lumpur’s LRT, a leveled platform train, I did not had a chance to take the train. We was walking and taxi-ing a lot.
Walking along the streets, I saw many stall selling junk food. Personally, I think that those street food is really very disgusting and dirty, it’s on the roadside and Bangkok is a very dusty city and yet there’s still people buy the food. It’s so unhygienic and feel so uncomfortable. A lot of fried stuff like fried chicken, fish, fishball etc. All these stalls doesn’t fancy me but instead, it repel me away.
Next stop, I guess it will be Suan Loom Night Bazaar revisited. =D
