Books Fair in School

Written by Nicholas Chan on April 16, 2008 – 10:28 pm -

Recently, the school hall is used for some book exhibition or books fair. There are comics, magazine, story books, reference book, and a lot more. Although some books interest me, but then I had made my books shopping last weekend at Popular Books Clearance Sales at Midland Park. The books at Popular are cheaper and it was up to 70% discount.

Books

However, reading is not my main hobby. I do read, not story book, but news, self enrichment, science and tech related stuff, blogs etc etc.

Something isn’t fair is teacher gets 30 percent discount while student only get 20 percent. I thought student should get more discount as we are encouraged to read more. I don’t care so much cause I can always get my teacher to buy for me. Hehe.

My friend Jing Min and Pin Hoong who are the librarians were carrying out their duty as security at the entrance of the hall. =) Good thing is they get to skipped class, but the bad thing is they missed class. *Sweat.*

  • Oh my I miss all those book fairs back in my primary school years! My high school barely had any fairs because we were experimenting a new textbook-less teaching method where teachers will be tailoring the lecture notes for us.

I don’t care so much cause I can always get my teacher to buy for me. Hehe.

    - You're so bad! :)
