Malaysia’s General Election has passed and now it’s our own election in our club - Leo Club of Chung Ling High School for choosing the new term of presidency, or leader, chairman or whatever you like to call it. I was one of the presidency candidates too! But I was not intend to be choosen, instead we have our own plan, who to be who.

Members

We can’t go around pulling votes, campaigning like Obama, McCain. It’s not a democratic club. Hehe. The votes mostly goes to your friends, and unknown people by your spoken speech. I did not prepare my speech, I can talk a lot, but I talked less that day, for moving aside for my friend but not me to be the president. Why? Guess it’s because I still lack of courage, I can be his consultant but not a leader. That’s my weakness.

People

I love to crap, but it’s hard not to crap a lot when asking you to crap. So I try to just say a few words and let it be. Eventually, my votes was the lowest. Haha.

Group

As for me, I have been voted as the Vice President of the club of course I added some words before doing the votes and eventually I got the highest votes this time. =) My partner is Min Xiang who is the 2nd Vice President too, he will be my consultant. Haha.

Duo

As for the president is, not the above 2 siao kias, they are the treasurer and secretary of the club. President is Mr Tan Tee Jin, my classmate again and monitor. =D Congratulation. Wee~

Walkaround at Yau Ma Tei Station

Written by Nicholas Chan on April 28, 2008 – 11:59 pm -

Some day in Hong Kong, I left my mom alone at the MTR station, she shopped underground, while I just walked around the area to look around. The station is big with several exits. Told mom gonna meet her back at around sometime, but even if I am lost, I got no worry because I got a phone. I can call whenever I want. Calling is cheap in Hong Kong with their number.

Saw kids coming out from the station. They were like primary school student, but they are able to goes around, back home on their own. So small, so independent.

It’s a funeral service shop. Didn’t take the photo of the main shop because it’s disgusting with Chinese casket. Haha.

Arcade centre in Hong Kong. Place where triads kid, pai kia gather, this is what I saw in the movie. In real life, I didn’t bother to take a look inside, it’s so ugly on the outside so why should I go closer?

Did not get a chance to take a bus ride in Hong Kong. I don’t have an octopus card and was lazy to fork out coins for the ride and also I got no idea which bus to ride.

Because I was alone, so I self-taken myself a photo at don’t know what road.

I saw policeman on duty too. I saw a lot of policeman there, patrolling. It’s more than in Penang, like almost everywhere I see police police. Not bad. I can get assistance ASAP if something happened near by. =)

All 7 Elevens outlets has this type of, put the coin in, turn and you draw something out. I realise not only kids love this, but adults. It’s like 5 or 10 dollar per draw, forget about it already.

It’s so nice there! Seriously.

Camera in Class 4SA5 of 2008

Written by Nicholas Chan on April 27, 2008 – 3:15 pm -

Form 1, I was in 1T9. I broke my arm and some people tease me all the time, but I have made some friends. Form 2, I was good with the person who tease me. Form 3, I made friends with good boy and this year, I loves my class. It seems like I enjoy every year in Chung Ling. Good, it has just only been 4 months, and everyone is being friendly with me.

Wondering I bring my camera to school everyday? No, we always take my biology teacher’s camera to play around, then I only ask her to transfer me the photos. Now she’s gone, wonder which teacher has a camera, I think none. All of them only know how to teach and don’t know how to be a student’s friend.

Yay. I am active in class and sometimes passive when I fell asleep. Haha.

Trying to mix around with everyone, makes more friend what.

During some free times, they got nothing to do. Borrowed a paint spray, and sprayed some numbers on our PE shirt. Not bad right. Left is Arron the manager and right is, Liang Sun. Message to Arron “Life does not sucks, it’s only matter on which eye you use to see your life”.

I learn LIFE and THOUGHTS and BASKETBALL from Zez, while I learn SPM Syllabus from Fang Juinn. =) 2 Pros.

Trying to act cute like those people who pose in their pictures in Friendster.

When is the next batch of trainee teachers? Haha. Exam is coming, fun time no more.

Expression *sweat*. Stop stop stop thinking what you are thinking. They are not what you think they are. XD [Class Monitor Tee Jin and Dragon Boat Captain Jin Sheng]

Not everyone loves to take photo with us. Only some, don’t know why. They don’t want to join our fun, but is their choice, no force. =)

Okay, this is my current class. Remember, 4SA5 of 2008. It’s A class you know! But in random position. Haha, so A is nothing.

Red Box afternoon tea with fellow teachers

Written by Nicholas Chan on April 27, 2008 – 2:15 am -

There’s time we meet and we leave apart and yesterday was the last day for the trainee teacher friends. Goodbye we have to say to them, so we went to the box, Red Box. I am not the organizer but it was my name who reserved the room. I went there late, thought that I will not get the room but there’s clever people who knew how to use my name to get the room first.

Estimated about 30 people will be there, however turn upwas like 20+. Don’t remember how many people was in the room, people came in and out,

Pressure comes when these 2 (Herrick and Lek Jian) sings because they have a very nice voice and got skill. But not everyone sings. Active singers were a few, including me, there’s people playing PSP, talking around, and also some sitting there doing nothing.

This 2 does not sing a lot. No idea what they were doing there. I think they were talking around in the room. Now I know not all people have the interest, singing like me.

If you loves to sing, just sing even if sounds ugly. BUT you need to catch the key, else everything will be going upside down. The most important is you enjoy singing and don’t be embarrassed of yourself. Express it.

My friend Khai Liang loves to sing. But our style is different, sometimes it’s hard to follow him, sometimes it’s hard for him to follow me.

Didn’t really take a lot of pictures yesterday as I was concentrating on my singing. HAHA.

Alvin was busy shooting around though.

It’s teachers turn to sing. At first, I think they were shy to sing, but slowly as time goes by, they started to sing louder and louder. Louder than me. Haha. Not bad not bad. 2 of them are from the church choir, so they can sings, but not our pop songs. XD

Teacher is serious in school and crazy outside. Actually it’s not true, they are crazy ALL THE TIME. =D

There’s only 1 trainee teacher that teach my class. However, I have made friends with all 4 of them. Ling, Hii, Ching and Si. Yay, but still the gap and interest limits the chatting topic. HOLY SHIT! I did not take photos with Ah Ling! (Mr Ling).

This boy is Ling Ling, Mr Ling. Hehe. Want to know him? Ask me for his msn. Wakaka.

I tell you, yesterday was DAMM FUN! I’ve been to Red Box for so many times, and yesterday was the 3rd enjoyable time. PEACE OFF.

p/s:my favourite song yesterday is 你是我的眼 and 擦肩而过. =)

Photo shooting in lab

Written by Nicholas Chan on April 25, 2008 – 12:13 am -

Tomorrow is the last day for Teacher Yuesi as she is done with her internship program in our school. 4 months of being with her, I did not take her as a teacher but as a friend. Sorry that I didn’t listen in your class because seriously, I can’t for the reason *don’t want to tell*. Hehe.

No lesson today. She took her camera and a tripod to the Science lab.

She purposely went to borrow a tripod for taking only a FEW shots of the whole class with her. Though it’s annoying while waiting for the timer to go off and chik chak. 10 seconds count down everytime. I wish I had the wireless remote for taking photos, but I don’t because I don’t really need it so OFTEN.

People seems happy today, but there’s some passive one just sat there at the table copying work and sleeping. They don’t want to join the fun of taking photos. Ok, just forget about them.

Snap snap snap. I took over, then the other took over, the other took over my and her camera. I think the whole class has touched my big camera. Everyone was like WOW, so big?! and don’t know how to operate because there’s no live view on screen. You had to place your eyes at the hole (viewfinder) to take pictures.

Chien Chern was doing a demonstration on how to kiss a lizard. =D

And his woah, he did not says the feeling is good because it’s a fake lizard and fake show.

Sun and Mil Norra, crazying in class. They are the jokes cracker, without them, the class will be very cold and quiet. Seriously, they are good.

A university soon-to-be graduate student and a high school student that don’t concentrate on Bio class. However I do listen in class for the pass 2 weeks. =)

Will miss you (guys). Waiting to be treated back in May. Hehe. Dinner or lunch? You decide.

Sai Yeung Choi Street

Written by Nicholas Chan on April 24, 2008 – 12:26 pm -

Do you know what Sai Yeung Choi means? It actually means Western Vegetable. It’s a kind of vegetable that you can eat and use to cook soup. There’s a street in Hong Kong at the Kowloon peninsula near to Mong Kok name Sai Yeung Choi St.

Many of you maybe familiar with Ladies Street (Tung Choi St), Men Street (Temple St). But this is also a must visit street, Sai Yeung Choi St. Mainly, it has many shops selling electric goods but then you will also find plenty of fashion boutique there.

When I was there, I was like “OMG, this is so cool!” LCD screen everywhere, the road is close and there’s only people on the road walking and no cars! Really very happening.

You can see broadband and telco company set up stalls in the middle of the closed road, promoting their packages and service. You can’t find similar place like this in Malaysia, for sure. A street specially for technology and electric product, where to find?

I bought shirts and shorts there! Didn’t buy any electronic product because the choice was too much and I got no idea what to buy.

It’s a must go place in Hong Kong. Next to Sai Yeung Choi St is Tung Choi and Fa Yuen St which are also very happenings too. I’ll talk about it next time.

Very nice right?
