Chung Ling High School Cross Country Run

Every year, our school held a cross country run event at Youth Park-Botanical Garden-Jesselton area and of course I did take part in this event. It’s actually compulsory to all the student in school in order to receive the 20 marks in the Physical Education. Of course not every one joined the run though, with exception of those weak student, uniformed unit members that duty.

Our school held this event on last Friday, and so we did not go to school but to run walk.

In order not to let other students running out course to other places, attendance was needed, twice. Before the run and after the run.

Eventually, many run and many were behind walking, I was part of the walking group though. This year was different, last time I ran and walk, but this year I just walk. I bought my camera with, and I was talking cock with my friends.

The run walk was like 8-10km. Just almost same as the Penang Bridge Marathon that I joined last year. That one, I ran. It took me bout 70-80 minutes to finish the thing. But for my school’s cross country, it took us 2 hour of walking. Woah. Every one were back at the finish point but not us.

We did group shots at Botanical Garden and some other places. Peoples were looking at us. Haha.

The fun part was us singing with Leo Ku’s 12 minutes song 劲歌金曲 when we were reaching the finish line.

The boring and exciting part was the lucky draw session. It was boring to me because I did not have a lucky draw coupon so I went home with some other friends. In order to receive a lucky draw coupon, one must be in top 120 and also for students and teachers who have collected RM300 for the school teacher-parent association fund. Thousands of people have the coupon, but only a few people will walk away with the prize. The person who get the prize must be luckFUL. LOL.
