Light shopping with mum
Written by Nicholas Chan on November 17, 2007 – 11:03 pm -Last Thursday night, I went to shopping with mum for some groceries. We always go to Cold Storage, because it’s near to our house. Some people like to go Tesco because stuff there is cheap, but it’s too far for us. Where do you go for shopping then? I like Cold Storage because they always got those imported food, from Japan, France, Korea, U.S.A, but it seems expensive though.

Walk around soft drinks area and saw the got new imported Coke, from U.S.A. and U.K., I want! But mommy don’t want me to buy because of the price! It will be like 1 pound/dollar at there but here is RM5. Same lah, if convert to Malaysia, but then when someone go travel there and buy for me, it’s free!

See this Evian mineral waters? RM6.99! It says the water is from the French Alps, some is from Mount Everest. What for? I drink those cheap 99 cents water can already. Last time in Singapore, I buy before, 2 Singapore Dollar, nothing special, just the same taste as normal water.

Everybody loves Haegen Dazs, and it’s not cheap! Little small bucket of ice cream cause you RM30. This is insane, I rather buy some Magnum ice cream stick better or walk in to Haegen Dazs store to eat.

This one not same though, because it’s not Haegen Dazs! Hehe, it’s from Australia and I’ve never heard of this brand. Can buy and try sometimes. LOL.

So what we get that day were, chips, fresh milks, ice creams, yogurt drinks, Vitagen and Yakult. =) Wahaha, little things only.

Imported food is good!
And expensive.
Chips like Doritos and Ruffles are almost RM10 per pack.
As for ice-creams, Baskin Robbins is nicer. They’re colorful that’s why. Haha.
