I Pity Them

Nowadays, primary school education level very deep. Almost as deep as secondary school.
Last week, I went to a primary school there to help out for a drawing competition and came across a standard 2 class timetable. I am surprise to see they are learning Science and Math in 2 language, both English and Mandarin.
Pity them la. I last time standard 2 that time didn’t even study for Science yet, only standard 4 start. MOE say want to use English to teach Math and Science, but don’t know why learn another version of the same thing. Well, learning Mandarin is good, but why learn 2 language of the same thing and during major exam that time, you only need to answer either in Mandarin or English, nobody ask you to write both.
Is it education system in Malaysia going “deeper” ? Better? I don’t know. Don’t ask me.
