I’ve been to cinema in Singapore and made some comparison.
Written by Nicholas Chan on December 8, 2006 – 7:28 am -=Singapore.
=Malaysia.
=Cantonese movie dub in Mandarin, not fun.
=Cantonese movie still dub in Cantonese, fun.
=A lot of movies at the cinema, rated from NC16 , M18, R21.
=I saw movies that shown in Singapore but not here, most probably banned, rated only 18SG/SX/Forgot already.
=All seats are couple seat or known as twin seat here. The put arm thingy which separated every chair can be remove. What I know is in Golden Village Cinema.
=Pay extra for a couple seat.
=Below 10Singapore DOLAR for a ticket. = RM15-20 per tickets. No student price.
=Pay more for better seats, RM5 for Student tickets and movie day cheaper.
=Wherever there’s a new shopping mall open, the cinema is ready. (My brother say want, I believe it’s true because Vivo City just open like a month ago and the cinema is there already)
=Wherever there’s a new shopping mall open in Penang, the cinema is not ready. (Queensbay Mall, Penang, opened a week ago, but did not see any poster of cinema and cinema still in renovation)
=Tickets can be paid via credit card. (Visa users have privilege to Q in special line to buy tickets more quickly, @ Tanjung Village Cinema)
=No idea, no special line, guess not.
=I watched Deck the Halls there.
=No word on Deck the Halls releasing in Malaysia Cinema.
=Saw III is there, but R21.
=Saw III is banned in Malaysia.
