I went Thai.
Written by Nicholas Chan on November 25, 2006 – 9:57 am -Can say I just went back from Bangkok, capital of Thailand, urm, a few days ago. Wednesday! It was, HOTTT but fun. My first time to Bangkok and I have been to Hat Yai before. My grand-uncle staying in Bangkok told me that Hat Yai is very quiet now because of those Muslim Thai “terrorist?” peoples bombing here and there. Scared away all the lovely tourist like me XD. Hat Yai is near to Malaysia, just after the border between North Malaysia and Thailand is Hat Yai, dad used to drive us there on a 3 hours journey.
Well, back with Bangkok. I boarded budget airline with my relatives and grandma. Last time grandma took my brother to Bangkok but not me because I was too young so this time is my turn. You read that it’s budget so the plane won’t like park near the gate in the terminal and let you walk in. I need to take the stairs down to the airfield and then take the stairs up to the plane. Just took 1 hour+ to arrived in Bangkok. and Happy because I was in the New airport of Bangkok, open 2 month ago only. Very new and huge and got a nice control tower. Even though there are a lot of those chop passport counter/passport checking/whatever still need to Q up for like 10 minutes, there were LOT of peoples, really the 2nd busiest airport according to Wikipedia.
At there, I a bit scared, can saw many pretty ladies and girls but they might be transsexual she man. Scary. Tour guide said so and this is one of the attraction in Thailand XD.
Dreamworld, their local Disneyland-liked theme park, built 7 years ago. It seems nice in there, the garden everything, but a bit dirty lor, need more cleaning and very hot. Don’t see the crowd fun there like Genting Highland, and the rides will never full. The rides are just ok.
What attracts me are Chahtuchat Weekend Market and Swan Lum Night Bazaar and too the Grand Palace. A lot of stuff to buy in weekend market and night bazaar. For the Grand Palace of Thailand, it’s really nice and very big.
Didn’t went much place because we went to vist my relatives in Bangkok. And one thing I don’t like is the traffic light there, it takes 3 minutes until it turn green.
That’s all for now.
